The two existing threads for starting school in 2016 have been merged into this one. This thread is for general chatter about anything to do with kids starting their first year of primary school in 2016. This is known as different things in different states: prep, kinder, foundation, transition, reception. This thread is for the first year of official primary schooling and everything that goes with getting ready for school.
