I do summer now and winter later too. I'll be getting three dresses for I so I only have to do one midweek wash. Her PE uniform will be what she has been wearing this year as her day to day uniform. E will also be 5 days and she will have 3 sets, although they wear polo with shirts/tracky dacks until year 1.
I've got iron on labels from Stuck on You the last couple of years. I's from two years ago are still doing well, which I think is pretty good given the clothes are worn haaaaard and washed and usually in the dryer at least once a week. Just a tip though - order early. Miss E had already started school before her stuff from SOY arrived.
Liebling has 3 sets of jumpers, polo shirts and trousers. 2 pairs of shorts. 10 pairs of school socks (OK, my organisation of wash at the weekend and into the drawers by Monday is not perfect). One PE kit, kept at school (but needs replacing as he's growing).
He has sew-in labels, so I can take them off and sew in Stormy's name when that time comes around. Cos even if we have a girl, she'll still need jumpers and polo shirts: the summer dresses, winter tunics and skirts will have to be new but I'll be part-way there.
Liebling has a non-school coat, hats and PE bag. Well, he finds it easier to find his stuff that way - a cloakroom of 24 red coats, 24 red bags and 24 red hats is a bit overwhelming!
It is hard to know what to buy, till you know what they will wear. DD1 loves dresses, so she wears the summer tunic, but wont wear skorts. For winter techincally there was just trackies, or the summer dress with tights. Thankfully we got a winter tunic added to the uniform guidelines. If only I knew what she would wear, I would not have wasted money on skorts or tracksuit pants (well except for one pair of gym pants).

Skirts crossed with shorts. Looks like wide pleated skirt from the front. There are also netball style ones, that are flat across the front and sport material, as opposed to the more structure tunic fabric.
I got my DD 1 pair of skorts (shorts with a flap on front to look like a skirt), 1 polo shirt, 2 dresses, 1 bomber jacket (press studs which are easier than pulling a top over her head which she struggles with), a hat, school bag, reader cover. Her art smock I got from a craft market.
For shoes, let me know what size O is because I have a pair of black velcro shoes in good condition that DD outgrew by the end of term 2! At our school the kids can wear normal runners or black shoes. We got her black runners with velcro. Now she just wears white runners.
Towards the end of Term 1 I bought her 2 pairs of track pants and 2 extra polo shirts. Then I went to a local uniform shop that sells stuff without having to buy the school logo (because school isn't strict - so long as they are in the right colour!) and got 2 more trackie pants and a green zip up jacket. I've since had to buy 2 more pair of pants because she put holes in 3 of the other pairs!
And don't forget little bike shorts or similar for under her dresses I bought them really cheap from Kmart.
