Generally goes by closest but some have their own zoning (not sure how that works being a public system and fitting into the DEECD rules of closest boundary to boundaryAnyhoo - literally use google maps to find your closest. For the ones you know that are further away just give them a buzz and find out if they are zoned, if they are you will know that in grade 6 you will have to fill out a bunch of paperwork to try and get in.
