A 5 year old is way too young to be walking alone let alone home alone.
Do you have any friends that could help out? Otherwise maybe look at job sharing?

Does she have to start before school care at 7am? When I used to work in before & after school care there was a flat rate morning fee and I was there from 7am but the kids could arrive whenever their parents wanted to drop them off.
Nothing like a cuddle from DD after a hard day's work!
Definitely hence why it is stressing us out.
My dh doesnt trust anyone either to drop her off.
My job cannot be job shared. I have even contemplating on quitting but might not be feasible.
Weve got the pick up sorted now just drop off.
So stressed

Family Day Care people can do mornings and school drop offs, if you cant find a more informal arrangement.
