wow I am going to have to start thinking about uniforms for dd for next year. she is small for her age and skinny too so I am a bit worried they wont have a uniform small enough to fit her and I will have to buy it big and get my mum to take it in and up lol
My girls are tall for their ages & I had to get different sizes. The shirts are big, so I got DD1 an 8, which might even fit the year after next (she's in 9's normally) & DD2 a 4, even though everything else is a 6 on her. With the jumpers I got them the 10 & 6, coz they are smaller sizes.
Confusing, but I'd at least get them a size bigger than fits now iykwim.
I usually buy up one size for my kids. DS also gets DD's hand-me-down jumpers and shirts, as they are unisex. Kids don't mind if things are a little large - I find it's when they're too small that it irritates them.
