DD1 takes a homecooked muffin/"healthy" cake or home made muesli bars, 2 pieces of fruit, a frozen popper now that its warm, a samwich/leb bread roll and a small container with some cut up vegies for their munch crunch time at school.... such as a cucumber and some cherry tomatoes.
Occasionally I give her something in the thermos for lunch, like leftover spag or fried rice. Great little investment that was!
(munch crunch time at her school is where they have silent reading for 15 mins and are encouraged to eat something healthy)
