What happens with the stationary in year 1 in your school?

I have had to buy her booklist which was $240 of stationary, books etc for Year 1. It is a big box and quite heavy and I was just wondering if I have to take all of it to school on the first day. Surely they can't keep so much stuff at the school? eg she had 12 glue sticks, times that by 34 in the class, that's alot of glue sticks to stick in a cupboard somewhere.

Yes take it all in. We are the same (private school) and they store it all and allocate it out during the year. No need to label either.

Oh and if you don't take it on the first day I am sure they won't be concerned.
