I'm sensing i am going to die soon.

I have this feeling that i am going to die soon. I get all panicky and my heart beats. I have seen how i will die. It was replayed in front of my eyes over and over again.

My dreams tend to come true. I want to learn to meditate and channel, but don't know how to.

Which books are best? Or DVDs. Anything. I want to channel in to this "gift" which i may have.

I am scared of dying. I wear my DHs clothes to take in his scent. I spray his cologne. I tell him i love him 100 times a day. I can't get enough of him (not sexually). I stare at him all the time, trying to take him all in.

I can feel the tears well up, so i'm going to stop typing.

Has anyone felt this before. This has been the most strongest feeling ever.

Hun, this sounds far more like anxiety to me.
I think you would be better off doing some sort or either yoga or tai chi to help centre yourself. It will take a few weeks but I think you need it because it seems your body and mind aren't very well connected right now.

It don't think it's the right time to be trying to channel anything, I think you need to be centred before you take any of this stuff on because you won't know what's right or not.

Dreams can be prophetic but I'd be looking at wether they point to positives or negatives. In your case I'd be standing against that dream.
Def do some meditation, visualize good things happening in your life, your positive future with your family, focus on seeing yourself happy down the track. Don't let your dream control you out of fear and anxiety!

I felt this once, with my ex, all that, but more so a sense of our time together was nearing an end, and at the time the only way i could think that would happen was one of us to die.
I think meditating would be a good start, like Lulu said, centering yourself will be handy.
sorry i dont have any books or dvd suggestions, just simple deep breathing and maybe do mind/concentration exersices that bring out a more physcial awarness?
hope you work out what your experiencing.

meditating is really bloody hard to start off with and requires heaps of discipline. I find it hard myself.

Find somewhere to do tai chi etc first methinks.

There is a big change in the air for you.....your feeling of dying is right in a way....its right cause a part of your past..your NOW is going to die and change. Its going to be a big shock...something right out of left field but its really for the better and you will know it when it happens thats its right.

im with Lulu....you dont need ot learn to channel...meditation might help you open and release what is. I wouldnt do yoga personally...you place to many walls in place and even though your trying..it maybe to hard. Allow it to come naturally...without the stress of forcing it IFYKWIM

ahhh so you have found your true soul mate :heartbeat: that is extremely special hon. As for being scared of dying....so many people are because its such an unchattered place. Give it time and you'll see its nothing to be worried or scared about hon :hug:

Easy meditation starting tips.

1. Sit in front of a candle, just focus on the flickering flame.

2. Lay in bed and just focus on your breath coming in and leaving your body.

3. Laying in the back yard and watching the clouds overhead.

I even colour in, just loose myself in that.

What you are trying to do is get into an alpha state. Have you ever been so engrossed in something that you loose yourself, like the outside world doesn't exist - this is getting into your alpha state.

You don't need to sit and meditate for hours at a time, just 5 mins a day (or a couple of times a day) will help!

I have a man coming over tomorrow to value our property as we are refinancing. Don't know what he looks like though. I don't know any short,plump man witha moustache.

You know all this with my DH has never happened before. I had always thought that he wasn't my soulmate, and this feeling is so different, a feeling/love which I have never felt before.

I hope what you sense comes true Mazarooni. I hope thus relapse dies soon, otherwise I might.

I've always felt I wont have long with DD, like she wont be on the Earth for long IYKWIM. I hate it but with saying that it makes me give more kisses, cuddles etc than I may have given had I not had this feeling.

It really upsets me though so I dont know what it could mean.

I've never told anyone because I didnt want anyone thinking I didnt want DD around long term or something like that... does that make sense? :wall:

I think what the others have said about it being a sign that there will be a significant change in your life is probably spot on. I occassionally have thoughts like this, but tend to think it has more to do with the overwhelming love I have for DS and DH and my fear of not being able to share in their lives for ever iykwim.

On a slightly different note, my dad has told me that from the time he was in his late teens he was convinced that he was going to die young, that he wouldn't make it past 40. He lived his life based on this belief, which in some ways made it fuller, but I tend to think that he missed a bit as well because of it. He tells me that he was in utter disbelief when he turned 40 and by the time he reached 50 excepted that he had it wrong. He's turning 59 in a couple of months...

TD, I remember having this feeling a few years back and it terrified me.

On one occasion it was symptomatic of anxiety (caused by lack of sleep and total adrenal overload) so there could be some real physical/psychological issues behind this...perhaps it's time to stop and take a look around at what's not working and take some 'radical self care' measures to get you through this.

On the other memorable occasion, it was caused because I stopped being able to feel the path before me...I'm quite psychic so I usually hold an awareness of what's coming into my life (the big things) ...and when I stopped being able to feel that it felt like I was standing on the edge of a cliff that I didn't want to jump off. What really happened was some big life changes (caused by my DH's job) that I couldn't imagine beforehand, the change was that big. But with that change came some really positive opportunities, that I had been working on manifesting for a couple of years - suddenly it all came together in a big way. Coming through that change, the way ahead felt 'cloudy' or 'misty' but then it cleared up afterwards.

Re specific premonitions - these are never set in stone...I managed to avoid a huge car smash that I had premonitions of for several months by changing my usual car routes and by pulling over if I sensed trouble anywhere on the road. Did this one day and yeah, drove through the accident scene a few minutes after it happened...so if you feel there are some measures you need to take for your/your family's safety, then take them as often as you need to until you get confirmation that the danger has passed. :hug:

My husband is much the same as your dad Miss E. He has always told me that he would not live past 45 and he is 40 this year. I hope he has got it wrong too. This feeling and my depression hasmade me more aware of my emotions. There is now not one day where I don't tell my dh and kids that I love them. I tell them at least a few times during the day.
I wish your daddy and my dh a looooong and healthy life.

I am with Lulu on this one too. Death as a revelation is rarely "feared" as really it's just another step in our existence & it's not to be feared. Thus when it's known there isn't anxiety attatched - rather peace.

I think it could be difficult for you to meditate - having said that I think meditation is something all humankind "should" do! There are classes - if you look up the "Ananda Marga" Kindy in Melbourne they will tell you about free meditation classes. It's a great way to start. Yoga is also great - something I also am passionate about.

Hugs TD. I think the girls have given some great advice. I often felt that overwhelming need to tell my XH I loved him when I was depressed. I think it was my brain saying, "I suck but you're great and I want you to know that you're great" ITMS so depression could be a big part of this. I've never felt like I'm going to die necessarily but I do think about death a lot (always have since being a little kid) so I know how scary that is but my mission in life I guess is to simply accept that I AM going to die and use the fear to live the best life possible.

Working out feelings is a minefield - sometimes it helps to analyse them, sometimes it makes your head want to explode and gives you more things to worry and think about. Only you know what's right in your situation. You could keep analysing or you could accept that no-one knows the answer right now but the law of averages would suggest that you're NOT going to die.

Give meditation a shot (I've only dabbled but thought it was fab) AS LONG AS you won't beat yourself up if you can't get the hang of it. I tried it when I was in a good place but I know if I'd tried it when I was in a bad place it wouldn't have worked and I would have used the failure as further evidence that I sucked.
