Peanut Butter & Nuts During Pregnancy
I have a few allergies which have only developed since May this year, being Asprin, brufen, coconut and more recently local anaesthetic.
I have been eating nuts and satay chicken during this pregnancy. Should I be worried that I am going to pass this on to bub?
Cheers
Melissa
What is the go with eating nuts?
I have worked with ladies who had nuts and dried fruit combinations throughout their pregnancies, but a girlfriend of mine who is currently pg told me that eating nuts can lead to allergies within the child. My doctor gave me an overview of what quantities of things i should be eating and nuts was on the list. I then bought little mini packs of nuts (almonds, pepitas, dried prunes, etc). Which one is it?
Can any one shed some light on this?
Peanuts?...And no, I'm not talking about size of baby
Hi
I've had conflicting reports about eating peanuts in pregnancy. Some have told me that if I eat peanuts then my baby will have a higher risk of allergy to peanuts. Others have said that if that was the case there would be a lot more foods that we shouldn't eat. In an article on this website, it says that we should eat nuts moderately. I'm not talking about eating a kilo of the stuff in one sitting but I do get the occasionally urge. Too much salt would probably not help but everything in moderation...right...?
Any help please...
Thanks in advance :D
