Thank you Toccara!! Just called my parents.. they said there is flooding but not high enough to cause much damage.. ( PHEW!!)

Just wanted to pop in and say hi why I have a few mins by myself.

I have been sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo busy lately, work, after work, all day every day at the moment.

I see there have been a few more BFP's :dance::dance::dance:

AFM - have just ov so TWW has begun.... so busy I have not had time to even think about babies although DH and I have been :bd::bd: like crazy as we only need 1:sperm: Poor DH he has put his back out quite badly and I cant help feeling guilty :o

Hi girls,

Well I think I'm addicted and it is my first month on BB. The internet crapped itself and I haven't been able to get on and was having withdrawal symptoms. Tried to read every1's post from when I was last on but you have all been very busy on here there were pages and pages and then I get to the end and realised that they had to create another post because you have all been soo busy.

Anyway AF came today WOOHOO the 1st time I have been happy about AF coming in along time. Now DH and I can start TTC again since the OP in July. Hopefully we will get our sticky BFP this month which would be a great B'day present for me.

Tocarra I was reading your post about ur boobs hurting and then not hurting. My sister in law is a highly qualified mid wife and I asked her about why your boobs hurt on and off as you were very concerned about it. She said that it is normal for them to hurt on and off and not to worry about it. Especially if they dont hurt in the morning as she said that your hormones are lower in the morning and raise higher in the evening thats why they hurt more at night. Hope this helps you.

AFM - I did my zillionith pregnancy test today. The Discover one step brand, I have never used it before. Well a week after AF was due ( and still hasn't shown up, yes!), I got the darkest positive line ever. The positive pregnancy line was darker and thicker then the control line :wtf: . Anyway, still feeling tired, no m/s yet, toilet trips constant, breasts slightly tender.....so I guess I better kick myself out over to the Pregnancy thread...:( Still worried it will all go pearshaped. I guess until I get myself to my doctor and have everything officially confirmed and then an ultrasound, then maybe I
will settle down. But probably not. I go now and do this :asleep:

Now I don't want to alarm you... but... guessing from your bazillion tests... and the darker-than-a-black-hole line... I'm thinking that maybe... just maybe... you might have to come to terms with the fact that you are PREGNANT!!! :ROFL: Now, I totally understand your anxiety that something might go wrong, but try not to get too caught up to appreciate and enjoy the miracle that is growing inside you :hug: Enjoy every second!

As For Me-Last night was soo Horrible for me, Its 50 degrees outside & I was drying my exes jeans (no they didn't have a lighter or paper in them) I had washed them to get stains out and didn't ring out the water I just threw it in the dryer the next thing I know I was smelling something weird like a burning smell I go in there because its the only thing that was running and fire was coming out of our dryer I opened it up and BOOM big ball of fire comes out ashes went onto some clothes on the floor and burnt holes in those, my first instint was poor water and poor and poor till its out so I did that, Then I got the girls which only sleep in diapers and put them outside with a blanket over there heads IN FREEZING RAIN weather, I came in opened windows doors and fans turned on, I put them in my car and then turned heat up. Came back inside and made febreeze and lysol bombs I put tape on the handles and sit them in each room and went to sit in the car with the girls (which got awakend by smoke and fire alarms and me) then I brought them upstair put them back in bed cuz the smoke was gone but the smell still stinked not too bad though. My 2 year old went back to bed right away, My 1 year old WAS UP ALL NIGHT SCREAMING! she wouldnt take her milk or food or nothing just screamed so I let her do that in bed, She woke my 2 year old up at 3 so I had no Sleep today!!!!

Can anyone tell me whether or not on a O strip, if there's 2 lines, but the second line is lighter than the control line, that means negative, right? It also says best time to test is between 11-3, and 5-10, and I did mine at 3:30... should I do a second one later tonight, or just wait until tomorrow? Thanks!

Jen - m/s is so bad, didn't come to work yesterday! slept till

Hi Jen805, I haven't posted much on the boards at all except after my miscarriage, but can answer this one I think!

If the second line is lighter, you haven't had your LH surge yet. The LH surge usually occurs early in the morning (ie in the hours after midnight), and it can take up to 8 hours for the LH levels to show in the urine sample, which is why its best to test during the day (the ones I use say between 11 and 3). If I had your result, I would probably test at 11 tomorrow morning (that said, I am impatient and this month when I had a lighter line I did one later that night - still light).

What usually happens to me is I have two days where the line is light (so 'negative') and then after that I'll get a definite 'positive'. I'm sure there's no science to it, but I kind of take the lighter lines as an early warning system that the LH surge is a-comin'.

Hi Ruthie - how incredibly scary for you. Take a deep breath. Try to focus on what you need to do RIGHT NOW. I suggest that you get someone to drive you to the ER - you're too upset to take yourself. Try to breathe deeply and slowly. This may be the bleeding that lots of women experience. Yes it may be a miscarriage, but lets cross that bridge if we get there.

Just wanted to say I am :pray: for you and try to remember that whatever happens it is out of your control and that it is nothing that you have done.

It is normal for some women to bleed during their pregnancy so try to stay clam until you get some answers. I know its a hard time but please dont give up. I am here if you need someone to talk to.

Hi ladies,

Since DH and I will be ttc again after AF stops I have been thinking about my blood tests from the FS. My blood test for anticardiolipin antibodies was a low positive but the FS said not to worry about it however it is concerning as I dont want to have another miscarriage.

I have been reading some studies about taking baby asprin to help reduce the anticardiolipin antibodies and thought why wouldn't the FS tell me to take it just in case. Just was wondering on your thoughts?

We still don't know what caused the fire and wont know tomarrow, There was no lighter in the jeans no paper just a normal wash. theres over 10 deaths and 10 injerys each year due to dryer fires.. We had the matnince people confuesd on what caused it.

I had bleeding at week 10 that turned out to be a subchorionic haemotoma. Sweetheart if your waters have not broken and you have not miscarried the doctors may be able to put in a cervical cerclage. I hope all is OK sweetheart :pray::pray::pray:
