We have once so far, and it's only 10 am! There's still plenty of :bd: time to go! Haven't even gotten a + OPK yet... but will see how that goes after 11--hoping to see 2 dark lines on my OPK, as I've only gotten light lines for the last 2 days.

have u got the cheapy opk tests? they are useful! although I have NO IDEA when I conceived this time, it coul dhave been a beach, a balcony, home, the hotel... WHO KNOWS WHEN AND WHERE!

Tam, Chappas, Thank you so much :hug: Today was a bit hectic.... hubby decided he wants a "better place" for us to live with new bub and we went out in search of a new apt.
I think all the driving and sitting on the darn car has made me cramp all over again. but only my lower back. I am a bit concerned cuz doc said if I keep cramping i my cervix area it could be it is in fact "opening" and on Wed the stitching thing ( which I dread) will be imminent!!.. Just am crossing my fingers that it stays shut.. I don't want needles in my crotch!!:redface:

Rachelswirl: Thank you so much hun... WOW way to go girl..:clap: I quit smoking when TTC for my 1st.. then after him all these 3 years I have smokes like 10 cigarettes in the 3 yr time frame. So I guess that's good. I quit completely as of Dec last yr. I think all the TTC stress made me fall in the habit last year but not that bad. Good for you hun. I feel sorry in a way for hubby about no sex.. but its for this babys sake.. I cannot take any chances.
Thank yo for your encouragement. I am not the most patient person and just want Wed to come to get over it and know if the "cercladge" is going or not ( hope not not looking forward to it) and if not just to see bub and see how he or she is doing.
Hope we both have a smooth pregnancy and that we have the joy of holding out healthy live babies in our arms when we are both due. ♥

I'm still cramping here and there.. but no bleeding anymore and that gives me comfort. Hubby and i have refrained from you know doing the "wakiki" but lets see if it can last the remaining 7 months.. see when preggo I get super.. aaaahheeemm!!.. you know. hehehehehe:redface:

Well I'm hoping and praying 2morrow goes well I will be at the same point where I lost my baby last time ... I'm doing everything I can think of to not stress the baby and taking my pre nat everyday so I'm really praying everything is ok ...

AFM.... Still getting negatives on my OPK's. The one I did the other day, the first one I did, I took out of the trash after about 30 minutes and the lines were equally dark... but the instructions say not to read the results after 30 min. so I went ahead and disregarded it. But now here's my problem... yesterday's line was lighter than the first day's, then today's was even lighter than yesterday's... and neither one of those got darker after 30 min. or even 10 hours later, now. So now I'm wondering if it's possible that I actually got a + OPK on Thurs, especially with this am's temp spike... do you think I should go back and change my first test to a +? I think if tomorrow's temp is another high one, I may just go ahead and change it--guess I'll just see how it goes... and keep up with the :bd: just in case!!

Your chart overlay looks like you ovulated on the same day as last month. I've heard that OPK's just don't work properly for some people, so maybe you darkish line was a positive for you... I really really hope you have caught the eggy!!! :hug:

I'm new to this forum and still trying to catch up on all the news and abbreviations etc.
Unfortunately DH and I lost our little one on 25/8/08 at 7 weeks. I know it seems a little quick but we are already trying again (what can i say - DH is irresistible haha). That doesnt mean we didnt grieve for our little one though.

I've never considered doing BBT and OPK's before. I came off the pill in April and haven't had AF since. We didnt even know we were pg with the last one til i went to have fertility tests and unexpectedly found out.

I dont really know how things work now that i have had a m/c. I dont know when to expect to ovulate or get AF - and even more so since i havent since coming off pill in April. Is it possible to be pg so soon after m/c? Cos i have been feeling kinda nauseous and had some wicked pimples on previously un-marked skin.... although this could be wishful thinking.

It seems there is a lot of positive energy floating around this forum with tonnes of good news for alot of you. Hopefully i can share in some positive energy at some point in the future.

Emmykate - Welcome. So sorry that you've had to join us, but glad that you've found us. We are a wonderful, supportive bunch. It's possible to fall pg straight after a m/c, some have done just that and gone on to have successful pregnancies.

AFM - I've just had the most wonderful question put to me - my brother-in-laws fiance has just asked me to be a bridesmaid when they get married late next year. So it's a wonderful incentive to loose that extra weight (and I really need to fall pg very soon so I can still be in the wedding party). Sounding really catty now but can't wait until my sister in law (DH's sister) finds out, she's gonna be really annoyed they asked me and not her. He's marrying a woman a bit older then him with grown children and grand children, so I guess that means I have new nieces and nephews as well as becoming a great aunt (OMG i feel so old).

Jen - The month I fell pg last, I used OPKs and never got a positive. But I did have one day where the line was darker than the others, and obviously I did ovulate that month! So if you are the same as me, maybe you did get a pos on Thurs?? I could never really get them to work well for me, spent an absolute fortune on them LOL for bugger all good! But I do think in some cases it is helpful to compare the darkness of the line from day to day, I had a few months where I had no pos but one day where the line was a bit darker. HTH :)

Hi to everyone else, sorry for no personals, but hope you are all well. I will really try to do some soon, I've been such a slacker lately.

AFM, popping my last pill tomorrow and have started sniffing Synarel. So I'm basically in the process of switching off my dodgy ovaries now :) At least I have had no side effects so far from the Synarel, except for a bit of tiredness, although that could also be from DD waking us up in the middle of the night for the last 3 nights :rolleyes: I should get AF in about 4 days and then if all goes to plan :pray: I start FSH injections on the 18th Sep aiming for an egg collection the week starting the 29th. Its a slow process but we are slowly getting there. DH and I have also decided that we are going to start a health kick this week - exercise each night and no more Coke Zero or alcohol - I must confess I have taken advantage of the opportunity this month to have a nice glass of wine or two!

Oh Ruthie, I am so glad to hear that you are ok. I hope everything goes well at the u/s and I hope you get a good look at your beautiful little bubba. I can't wait for the update. :hug:

Quick update, have been laid up for past couple days, as have done something to my back. I've been unable to move, i suppose the bed rest wont do me any harm, just the pain is so bad, and cant take anything.:wall:

Seems to be easing off today tho so can move around a bit more. DF has been great, waiting on me hand and foot, could get used to it :lol:

Went to work 9am notice bleeding went to ER they did scan said baby was fine but I had threatened M/C and things looked good because the bleeding stopped went home took nap woke up went to bathroom bleeding started again pass one small clot so far I just want this to all be over quickly I'm so heart broken and sad right now the tears just wont stop I prayed so hard and still my baby died :( I don't think I will be trying to get pregnant again I can't take going through this pain again ...

Toccara50...... Hun..... go back to the ER..... please dont automatically think the worst.... its painful enough when we know it is reality, please dont put yourself through that pain before any form of confirmation. We dont know what it is yet.... Good Luck hun

oh toccara honey :crying: are you sure? there are so many incidents of bleeding and the baby is fine. I passed a clot too and baby was fine. Can you contact your ob or similar and ask if anything can be done in this circumstance? oh hun, i wish i could do something for you.....

I am:pray: my little heart out for you. Please go back to the ER! I hate hospitals for this they did it to me on my second miscarriage. They just dont care grrrr it frustrates me! Did they do an u/s? Can you go see your FS? or call him? Maybe you could find obgyn in your area if you dont already have one and see if they will see you asap to do an u/s and blood work.

Ohhh I wish I was there to comfort you. This is such a scary and hard time. Please dont give up the fight we are all here for you :hug:

Toccara darling it may be a small perinatal tear or sub chorionic haemotoma - these can resolve themselves. Call your FS darling.

As for me, I'm having a bit of a freak-out. I woke at 7am to take my temperature and it's dropped quite a bit. I'm terrified. I tried to tell myself it's fine because it's still higher than the coverline, but I kept having nightmares when I went back to sleep. I've compared it to my last pregnancy and it never dropped like this. I just don't know what to do!!! I thought that maybe my prog level isn't high enough or something. But even then I don't know what to do. I was thinking about calling my ob, but I think I would just sound silly seeings as things are so early. I'm just so worried that maybe the hormones are not strong enough to stop AF from coming and taking my baby with her!

Try not to scare yourself too much. I actually stopped taking my temp the day I got my BFP just because I didn't want any extra stress. It's up to you by my advise is put it away and don't use it again.

Oh no, Toccara! :comfort: Don't you give up just yet! If they did a scan and said the baby's fine, then that's a good sign! Are you having any cramping or pain? I agree with the other girls, I think you should get back to the ER--you need to know one way or the other, hon! I'm :pray: so hard for you and your little one... hang in there, little one! Ok, between the two of you and my best friend (who I called in a minor panic), you've made me feel a little more calm. So thank you!

I'm heading down now to get my blood taken and I'm trying to get in touch with my obs office (I think they are at lunch, how inconsiderate, LOL!) to see if they can add some tests to the blood order, like prog etc... Not sure if they could do anything if it comes back bad, but I'll try not to think of that for now.

Hmmm, now you girls are going to think I'm totally losing the plot... but does anyone believe in the lunar cycle stuff? If I'm honest with myself I would say I don't... but... it's meant to be my lunar peak today, and I've started getting pain from my right ovary (the opposite side I just ovulated from 2 weeks ago). I'm sure it's all a load of bull, lol, but I've actually calmed myself down a bit by thinking that maybe my temp was a bit lower due to something similar to the pre-ovulation temp dip. See, told you you'd think I was insane!! :P
