Roast chicken, pumpkin, potato, carrots, zucchini with steamed peas, corn, and capsicum and gravy. Might even tackle a choc self saucing pudding for dessert with ice cream!
We're having Nigella's Pork Chops with Cider Mustard Cream sauce, with Gnocchi and saut?ed baby spinach :D And DH is cooking for me :D
yum ubba and yum cai!!
were having bangers and mash!
butterchicken here... although that roast sounds yummo!
Tonight I made shepherd's pie with a potato/parsnip topping and chocolate creamed rice for dessert. DD has a very large, hard tummy from enjoying so much ricecream :)
Tomorrow I think I'll just do a tuna mornay... easy, cheap and yum.
Some sort of fish (I think it might be bream or red emperor, but really can't remember what I bought - it looks good though), pan fried in a sage and pinenut butter, with steamed zucchini, baby beans and snow peas, and big fat wedges.
For dessert we're sharing a mini citron tart and a chocolate truffle tart from the local patisserie. Probably won't have room for the chocolates we were sent which are from the Chocolate Mill in Daylesford, which makes amongst the best handmade chocolates I have ever tasted. Maybe for breakfast. ;)
Braised Lamb Shanks with mash and havent decided on dessert yet. I just sent DH out for some brown sugar because the CSR stuff is heinous!
Boring old Spag Bog here, but I've got a beautiful beef curry in the slow cooker that smells delicious, that's for tomorrow night!
beef casserole - with steamed greens and mashed potato - if I have enough time i'll pop the potato under the grill
savoury mince with mashed spud here
We're having last night's thai beef & noodles turned into a quiche!!! It's a weird thing I do when the cupboards are bare & we have leftovers :D
Its actually not as weird as you think ;) Google Kugel :)
bangers and mash - DH doesn't like sausages so when he's away we eat them.
Well aren't I clever!!
Lamb Chop coconut curry, with vegies & rice.
Left over upside down pineapple cake, heated & served with icecream...yummy.
We had chicken, green vegie and udon noodle ginger / honey / soy stir fry, DS had it for lunch (I made a big batch for him and froze most of it) so he had cheesy mushroom & sage scrambled eggs with vegie muffins and vanilla poached pears and kiwi fruit for dessert with a few bits of our chicken because he kept eyeing them ravenously. I think he did better than we did LOL.
MMM me loves upside down pineapple cake! I haven't made one for a couple of years as DH doesnt eat it and I would eat the whole thing in a couple of days.
We had fish and chips from the shop. It was good but now I'm feeling guilty. I have thawed chicken/veg patties in the frige which I'd better use tomorrow night now.
Moroccan lamb shanks with chickpeas and sweet potato done in the slow cooker with couscous tonight. Gorgeous.
Tonight being Friday it will be left overs or take away. But did make a yummy fish recipe earlier in the week. Skinless salmon fillets crusted with sesame seeds, pepper, sea salt and ground corriander. All you do is pat the crust on then cook in the pan or on the hot plate of the bbq. :D
Tonght I'm having spaghetti marinara at a cafe in Adelaide for a Belly Bellly Meetup!!!!!
Very exciting!!!!
The reason I know what I'm having is I'm doing weight watchers so I checked the menu and my books first.... sneaky :)
tonight were having a chicken dish with bake vegs and rice yummy yummy:p
ill probably just grab a BBQ chicken and have that with salad and chips/potato gems.
Tonight Its Chicken and sweet corn soup which I made with leftover bbq chicken yesterday. Yummy. Very Very easy to make and way better than any chicken and sweetcorn soup from the chinese shop.
Mmmmmm, roast lamb and I dont have to cook it. Going to MIL's.
Chickpea and rosemary soup with crusty sourdough bread...
Using up an abundance of tins from the back of the pantry, and its sooo easy and yummy in this cold weather. We often have these nights of what we call "peasant food" - really cheap and simple rustic food that just tastes so good.
were having chicken, maybe a green curry
I have no idea, and am not feeling very inspired! I think I'll be going through all my cookbooks this arvo!

Going out for Tea tonight. Woohooo. Almost forgot and was about to make lasagne. That will just have to be tomorrow nights tea.
Smithy, I love how tacos are easy too. I like to add kidney beans as well to the mixture. I dont feel much like doing anything lately either LOL! Some of these things other people are cooking sound too hard. I stick to basic cheap stuff.

hope you have a nice night chicky.

'Course you can GG! Plenty in there! Going to put some roast veggies in the oven before I head to PT so that they are ready when DH gets home: so all he has to do is pull everything out and put on plates for him and DD. I'll eat mine when I get home :)
I'm on Leave this week, so cooking up a storm.
On Monday it was lasagne. On Tuesday it was Moroccon Lamb Shanks.
Tonight, it's homemade pizzas for dinner and Blueberry Risotto for dessert. Mmm mmm. Good thing we're TTC, cause I know how DH is gonna feel tonight after eating what I've cooked for him :inlove:
Homemade chicken & veg pie, it looks sooooo yummy, with creamy mash.....then we are off on holidays so bring on the naughty eating out!!
