Hi ladies hope you are all well and feeling really postive this month !

Sorry elsielouise that your DH is out of town just think of it as a good chance to get some really good :sperm: growing for next cycle you know what they say about a rest !

Murrycod still got everything crossed for you I think this is the month a good few will be getting a BFP lets hope so anyway !

Scarypinkfairy any news yet did you get sorted ? I so hope you did then you can get down to the business of TTC without anymore worries.

Ric my body is playing up a bit too I think after a loss we have to give ourselves at least 6-8 wks for our bodies to get back to normal but a 2nd opinion wouldn't hurt especially if your not too keen on your GP.

Everyone else good luck with BD ing lets hope we get the receipe right this month !

AFM well I think AF arrived on mon as lost a bit of dark brown needed a pad but not a lot lost then nothing the rest of the day. Tues morning same thing and weds too but nothing today. Was wondering if I should get some ovulation predication sticks as not sure when I will O and at least if I don't then I will know for sure I didn't.
Any thoughts on these things never used them before. Antone had them off ebay seem a good price ? or would you say get them from the chemist ?

Well......I just found out my sister is pregnant. I should be happy for her but I'm not really, it was meant to be my turn next. She doesn't know what I have been through, only that I have had one m/c. The only thing that makes it better is that my 5 year old niece is so excited to be getting a brother/sister. I feel like I have just been kicked in the gut, another person to become pregnant before me. It's just not fair....

Looppylouie i know how you feel. one of my friends is pregnant and she is due the day i would have been. she is in a really bad relationship and didn't even want to keep the baby. i'm sure it will be your turn soon :)

craftymummy9 thanks for thinking of me. i have to go back to hospital next friday for another ultrasound, so will know more then. just want to get my cycle back. 2 weeks of bleeding now, so i've just about had enough :(

SPFairy! Thanks! Yeah they are Ragdolls, Coco is a blue point and she talks AAAAAALL the time, it's like she will have a conversation with you hehe And max is a white lynx ragdoll and he sounds like he is struggling when he meows hehe its like a grunt but in a high pitch girly voice haha and he is a little fatty. 5.4kg's and he is only 18 months, and coco is 4.3kg's and she is 4 years in nov :lol:

Hope you don't mind if I quietly join in this thread - wasn't sure whether to go back to ttc 1-6 months or here. I had a missed m/c that was picked up on u/s . I was 8 weeks exactly but bubs was only 6w2d, with no heartbeat. Luckily I got into the hossy right away and had a D&C the same day (Sept 29) Since then, the bleeding has been really light, watery and sometimes mucousy (sorry tmi). I haven't had any follow up appt as DH works at the hossy and sees the surgeon I had regularly so he relays any concerns that I have. Emotionally, I had a bit of a meltdown 3 days post op and again at the start of this week.

Now though, I feel great so as soon as this stooopid bleeding stops we will be jumping right back on the horse, so to speak!

I look forward to getting to know you all and hope that everyone gets their sticky bundles!!

Loubee I'm so sorry for your loss my darling, sad but welcome to this thread, great bunch of girls and such wonderfull support and guidance. Thankyou for joining in, and your journey is just as impotrant as ours, so don't be shy we are all here for you.
This forum has been a god send to me. I hope you get your healthy sticky bundle of joy again soon.

Loopylouie I'm sorry you have stressfull news to share, I pray that now you have had a "Wax and Shine" the Clomid will work a trick for you and you will share happy news back to your Sis X And you can have a journey together, or pretty close to it.

Ferrals think happy thaughts not long to go, my darling you have been so patient at waiting this far, please don't give up hope on your IVF journey just yet. As my DH stresses to me.....one cycle at a time..........I know it's hard to bear, but stay with it, your just about to go through a ride of a life time and you will need all of the happy thaughts you can find. We are all here for you and will support you no matter how hard it's gunna get. So back straight, get ready to harvest a Sh*@tload of eggies and be happy and bloatetd!!!!!!!!!!!!! XX

Ric how are you feeling ATM?? Do you feel any signs of AF showing up yet?? The endometrium needs to thicken up before it can shed again, so perhaps the days you bled were a slight AF...?? Hope time will tell. Getting close to the 11th 12th now hun.

My first AF after MC was dark Brown and still clotty at times. Very uneven flow. Day on day off. Longest AF I had. Would stop for a day, then back to brown, then a clot......was awfull.
My FS told me to throw my OPK's away. She hates them. But some girls swear by them. I Hear Clear Blue to be a popular buy. Let us know how you go if you decide to get them. Good luck with it! X

SPFairy 2 weeks bleeding must be taking it's toll. X I hope it stops soon for you. Thats such a long time. :comfort:

I just want to thank everyone for their kind words after my "Chemist Incident" the other day X Made me feel much better to know I have a great bunch of girls who actually care how I feel X Haven't seen her since, won't go out of my way to either......the cow:D

Anyways, I had my day10 ultrasound yesterday, mixed results so not that excited. I have 5 follies all at 10mm, They only like 1 or 2 at 20mm. Which means more Puregon inj for me, and another ultrasound on Monday morning. Scary thing is if all follies keep growing to size, my cycle will be cancelled. Not fair. I can't even bloody get one to fertilise and theyre worried about me having 5 fertiloised at one time!!!!!!!!!.....what a joke. Well as Dh said, if the cycle gets cancelled, wont stop us BDing like mad;)
Hopefully a couple stop growing and I just get a couple BIG FAT juicy ones on Monday. So will just have to wait............not that I wait for much........till monday for the news.

AFM I had a email from my good friend in the UK I only emigrated here in WA in Jan this year so I have no freinds here but keep in touch with a special friend I only met in the UK when I was expecting my last bub May 08, Anyhow she was a great help to me when I MC and sent me flowers and lots of support through email, Well seems she is pregnant and must have known all the time I was having my MC and didn't know how to tell me,
Anyhow I am so pleased for her but cried my eyes out when I read the email this morning JUST SEEMS EVERYONE I KNOW IS EXPECTING MY HALF SISTER AND MY BROTHERS GIRLFRIEND, :boohoo:

Guess I just gotta pick myself up and get on the best I can !

God it hurts when you hear of someone getting a BFP when they are so close to you,

Not you girls on here we all need to keep each other going and I will be happy for everyone of you ladies who get a BFP because we really really tried hard ! :)

We are in Atwell 20 mins south of Perth city ****burn central is our nearest shopping centre.
I love living here in OZ but its so hard when you know so few people and then you end up having a MC makes you feel so alone, I am trying really hard to stay positive and this forum has been such a help to me the last 6 wks since I joined,
Hope it will do the same for you as its still early days for you, it does get easier with time, but I do find I still have bad days and can't stop crying about what could have been.
Try to take my mind off it by doing knitting or scrapbooking anything to keep me from thinking about what IVe lost,

Crafty, we are in Rockingham...so not far. I do crafts as well, sewing, knitting, crochet, glass beadmaking, painting etc etc...I found it had really helped to take my mind off of things. As you said, there are good and bad days....we also have no family here. PM me and maybe we can meet up sometime....:D

Thanks to Matthew's Mum, murraycod, coco and scarypinkfairy for the kind words. I feel better now that it has sunk in. As you know the support from this forum is wonderful cause we are all in a similar boat.

If everything goes to plan (and it doesnt for me!) my next O will be in 8 days time. I'm thinking about it but can't stress hubby as when he's pressured he cant DTD. I've only warned him that he can expect to get a bit every second day/night for a while..... needless to say he's happy!! :dance: Sorry too much info!

Oh hi ladies! I'm confused as pants right now...

My temps are all over the shop. FF has even decided to move my O day from CD16 to CD27. Highly unlikely.
Looking at the chart, I pick CD 17 as O day.
I'm currently up to CD32, which is not unheard of for me to have a 32 day cycle.
BUT if I O'd on CD17, which I'm sure I did, it puts me at 15DPO, which is very unheard of.
Have been expecting AF since Wednesday, no sign.
This morning I cracked, climbed on a chair, slashed open the "baby box" with all things pregnancy related, and got a POAS out. bfn.
Later this morning, I felt a familiar unease in my tummy.
We weren't trying, in fact hardly BD'd at all this cycle as we've hardly seen each other.

Went for a regular hcg follow up test yesterday arvo - but results won't be in until Monday!

WHAT is going ON? Possibly molar growing back, possibly pg again, don't know, trying not to think of it til Monday, but losing the plot!

Have to get a chest x-ray this week, but I don't want to until I know what is going on! Also, am guest speaking at an event, have to prepare what I'm going to say, and am really struggling with it!

Craftymummuy-it's hard when people around you tell you they are pregnant it rip's at the heart string's my best friend and HORRIBLE SIL and another close friend are all due for there babie's in 2 week's all around the 20th to the 23rd and i pretend i am happy and excited for them but deep down i don't even want a phone call when the babie's are born i am coping well now with the loss of abbi but i am scared when the phone call's come it will be like a band aid being ripped off and all the pain will come back i don't need that right now i wish i could tell people please no pregnant women around me and no birth anouncement's then i would be fine but no such luck.

Loopylouie-MEN!!! they winge when they don't get it enough and when we say we need more on these day's and we try to get as much BD action in as possible they are to tired or can't perform us women can't win.

Snugglybean-I never had much luck with my temp's they alway's went up after i ov and i never got the dip just before so i alway's used opk's and i get ov pain so i'm not much help to you.

AFM-Well AF is here so i go for blood test monday morning and the PGD IVF nurse will ring me and tell me what dose to start jabbing monday night thank god i'm not working monday.

craftymummy9 and loubee i am in the middle of you in kwinana and i emigrated from uk in october 2006 :) how strange is that lol i have no family here either which makes it really difficult sometimes. i have been on the phone to my mom a lot recently though, so at least that is something.

snugglybean, your cycle does seem strange. hope things work out for you.

afm, went out with friends visiting from the uk last night but they didn't know what had happened. we had something to eat then went for a drink. i had one drink but had to leave early as i had really bad stomach pains. felt a bit bad leaving them so early.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend, I worked all weekend but now have 4 days off, gotta love nursing!!!!! I only work 7days a fortnight now that we are doing the IUI rollercoaster, and I still find it hard to juggle days off when needed. No month is the same.

Scenario 1 Cancelled cycle too many eggs growing.
Scenario 2 Eggs not growing enough...more needles and scans
Scenario 3 Got nice big juicy egg that's ready to be fertilised!!!!!

I hope it's scenario 3. I will be gutted ift it's no 1........it will be so much worse than getting AF :egg::egg::egg:

AFM I have had a good day today looking forward instead of backwards and awaiting the posty with my little OP sticks. as don't know where I am with my cycle but been BDing anyways just incase every 3rd day, sure is hard work :bd:

Craftymummy you got me in the spirit! I went to the Planitarium and got 6 gorgeouse rose bushes to revamp my front garden, but one i got a different colour to all the rest. My special one X

Well ladies I'm back from my scan............
Scenario no 2. Still have 5 eggs haunting me, and they have only grown to 13mm, instead of 1 or 2 at 20mm.
Also saw an extra 6 smaller ones on my left ovary and 4 extra smaller ones on my right. FS Nurse tells me that with this scan, and my past ones, it looks like I may have PCOS.
We then had a chat to my FS, they all think that this is the case, and that IUI would be extremely difficult to succeed in producing a pregnancy as we will be only guessing each month the precise time do insemination ect. Might as well be just having sex and keeping the $1100 in my bank account.
So anyway, I will have more inj of Puregon for the newx 3 nights, have anoth scan Thursday. If a miracle has occured and 2 eggs have grown to atleast 19mm I will have the IUI anyway.
If too many have grown, or none have grown enough, the cycle will be cancelled and will be out of pocket $900 for nothing.

So girls if I get a chance do go ahead, it will be our last try at IUI.
Have booked IVF for middle January.
FS thinks I will have no problems with IVF succeeding.

I'm feeling sad about all of this, but I don't feel devistated like I thaught I was going too.

Will dust myself off once again and try again in January. Im still smiling :) ATM.....

:hug: Muz cod! That is sad news, but you never know, this iui could still work, and if not, toot toot for the January train! Lots of girls on here seem to have success with seeing naturopaths for PCOS. I have a friend in Melbourne who is a TCM practitioner that used to treat it a lot. I hope you have some success soon!

Thanks for your wonderful support - I just about bit through my lip all weekend worrying about BT results, but it's still zero. Which is good because by 9am this morning I had convinced myself it was molar regrowth! Clinic nurse and I had a good chat about it, she was so supportive, and gave me the offical OK to ttc in Japan if we want to (as long as Dec result is zero)
Cycle still stupidly long. Don't know what that's about. Have taken some steroid meds for asthma recently, maybe they have mucked around with it? So I'm just sitting around waiting for AF.

Did a 130km bike ride yesterday and man do my girly bits HURT! :lol:

Bad new's i got a phone call from the pgd nurse i can't start this month my estrogen level's are to high they are supose to be between 100-150 mine are over 300 which they said is no good i have to have a repeat blood test tomorrow and if it's dropped a bit they will put me one the pill and i can start in nov if it's higher again i have to wait for my next AF then go on the pill in nov and wait until dec to start i am devastated balling my eye's out.

Well i can't cry anymore my eye's are horrid! i rang the pgd nurse to get some answer's and all she could tell my was that a high estrogen level is a sign that i have a lead follicle to early it would have started to grow when af started so that mean's i would ovulate early and all my other follicle's would not have time to catch up and being that we need as many follicle's as possible to get lot's of egg's to test there is no point so i alway's ovulate early like day 11 so we need to do somthing about my estrogen i never thought being to fertile to early would be a problem.

Anyway sorry to not do personal's i will come back later when i feel up to it.

Im glad at least they know what the problem is, so they should sort it out for next month. I too would be devastated having a cycle cancelled before it started. That really sucks big time.

Ferrals i am so sorry you are having a set back. I hope they get everything in order for you for next month and there is no more waiting. You are an amazingly strong woman. This wont stop you get to your goal of having a beautiful healthy baby.

just got result's estrogen is still high progesterone is low but my FSH is normal at 8 so at least that is good the FS is going to ring me after 4 to talk about what could be the problem but i'm out this month so i'm off to have a cry and i was told it won't effect our natrual fertility just no good for ivf i will let you know what the FS say's.

Oh, ferrals, honey, that's hard going for you. I know I say it to everyone, but, umm, naturopath? They are really good at sorting out cycles and hormonal issues where modern medicine tends to just work around it.
Also, just so you know, I stormed out of the last naturopath I went to when she a) suggested that our m/c might have been something to do with my nutrient intake and b) wanted to give me something to improve my hormone synthesis - at that stage I was still waiting for my hCG to go DOWN! Also c) everything she said was like "and we'll do this to get you ready for pregnancy, and we'll do this" and it was only 3 weeks after the m/c and we'd just been told we had to wait 6 motnhs to try again, so pregnancy was actually pretty low on my agenda, she just didn't seem to get that, that if getting pregnant were my only focus in life after losing one, that I'd just cry my eyes out.
BUT I know a lot of people who have had success.

MuzzCod- I have a gel seat, and padded knicks, and it's awesome for about the first 50km. After that, start to feel it.
AND.... still no AF! GrrrraAAAArgHHH!

I was away, was seriously ill.

MurrayCod - you were 110% right, that 11th sept bleeding was my early AF and i got my AF on 9th Oct, since then i was in bed, bleeding profusely...today feeling little well, so i just came in to say Hi to everyone and i will come back again once AF is over. I hope i will be up and running in 2-3 days

I saw a Natropath in SwanHill he was great, think I may have mentioned this before, was quite expensive but I think is well worth it. I am going to make anoth appt after I find out if I'm getting this IUI done or not next week.
Because I will have a few months bf IVF, it would be great to hear what he has to say...........and get me to take, would be great if I fell PG naturally again. BF IVF!!!

snugglebean-I hear ya! i was on vitex a natural herb when we got pregnant with abbi and i used it for pms and pimple's it is awesome but FS told me to stop while going through ivf well my acupuncturist(spelling) told me to go back on it i know a lot of ivf women on it and there FS don't mind so i'm going back on it ASAP i believe in all the natural stuff.
I had to laugh at the vagina remark lol.

Well the FS rang and said my fertility is good i have a good egg reserve i just ovulate early which is fine in normal TTC but with pgd ivf we need lot's of egg's so that lead follicle that start's to grow to early will stop the other follicle's from catching up in size so she did not start me on the pill we will wait until next AF and check my level's again if they are still high she said it is most likely just the way my hormone's are and we can start next month and see how thing's progress or go on the pill for 3 week's and then start but she does'nt really want me to go on the pill as ivf cycle's straight off the pill are not as good so it's a waiting game again but it look's like they will just go ahead and start next cycle (finger's crossed) if it turn's out no good we are still nice and fertile to try naturally
if we have to.
I also want to say thank's for listening to me go on and on this is very stressfull and you girl's are a huge shoulder to cry on thank you.
