Well I started my OP sticks yesterday and got a faint line in the test window at 4pm so today I waited and did again at the same time and got 2 dark lines so the opk sticks work and I am so thrilled to know | am having a LH surge and will hopefuly O in the next 24-36hrs, as some of you know with my age I was begining to think my days were over as not O since my mc sept 3rd, so had a glass of wine to celebrate and will be :bd: later and not moving for a good few hours ( pillow under my but and so on ) and then I think again on friday just for good measure and then I will be in the TWW ,so anyone else joining me Elieslouise I think your cycle is close to mine

bookworm sorry to hear your af turned up. hopefully will be the last time for a while for you. good on your dh for riding his bike to work, that must save you a fair bit of money. must be a right hassle when it breaks though. we only have one car to share but luckily my dh gets a company van :)

Craftmummy i think our cycles are quite close, im due to ovulate today or tomoro i think i had a little bit of cm overnight at work but not quite as heavy as it gets so im thinking maybe tomoro which kinda sucks coz it means ive missed out again this week, not seeing db till saturday night so i think my chances are very slim, but hopefully you can get your BFP now knowing that you are ov at the moment, Good luck
Snugbug grr about not being able to get your xray done but hey a BFP would be much more exciting, when are you testing? Or just waiting for af?
Bookworm no good about DH's bike, thats great that you can cope with 1 car, i couldnt do that coz i work half hour away from where i live otherwise it would be great i think. Hopefully his bike is fixed real soon

SPF how annoying about the bleeding returning. Its so frustrating not knowing what your body is doing. Maybe go and see your doc if your worried about it. Hope it stops for you really soon
Pumpkinzulu welcome and sorry for your loss. As the other girls have said we will not judge you on your age at all. I too have known since i was about 18 that having a baby is what i wanted but unfortunately have had to wait till now and now its just so hard. Hopefully you will get a BFP real soon and find all the support you need here.

Not much going on with me, possibly ov today or tomoro so that will mean im out again this month - not seeing db till saturday night, GRRR so annoying i hate this time of year, worst time to TTC, bloody harvest!!!

Hello everyone,well i poas this morning and once again it was a bfn,i just can't get that 2nd line,now have to wait to see if af turns up to give clomid another go,uping my dose to 150mg for the last cycle on it...Fingers still crossed for you coco &foranyone else that is testing soon

Yep, coco, defs too early. Everything crossed (except legs, girls, otherwise it'll never happen for any of us :lol:)
I have a blood test scheduled for Monday, just one of my regular routine follow-up ones. Will be 9dpo then, so hopefully something shows up? Then will POAS Tuesday morning. If either of them are bfp, then obviously the x-ray waits. Last time I got my bfp at 10dpo using first response, so I'm going out tonight to buy two. Only because of the x-ray issue. Otherwise, would just wait.

M'sM - sorry you didn't get your bfp today. Good luck with the rest of your clomid journey.

Just a quickie post to all my friends from before. 19 week anatomy scan done and dusted. We have a very healthy baby GIRL on the way! So happy that she is healthy!

AFM-Well my AF has yet to show and i have not a niggle or sign of it comming i bet it will turn up late tomorrow when i cant have a BT over the weekend unless i drive to Sydney IVF between 7 and 8:30 in the morning i am always on time but of course when i need it to come on time noooooooooooooooooo it has to decide to come late freakin body sh#ts me.

ladies ladies where are those BFPs! I was fully expecting to come on and find 3 BFP announcements.

eliselouise - oooh that sucks. When DH and I started TTC back in January he was always out of town around ovulation as well. It was soooo frustrating. Maybe you will be lucky and ovulate late.

Snuggly -lol at the crossed legs comment, you always make me laugh. I hope your blood test goes well and that as a result your x-ray has to wait.

sunny - glad to hear your pregnancy is going well, that's fantastic

ferrals - ugh how frustrating! hopefully it will show up even though you have no symptoms. Any chance it's not showing up for a good reason???

AFM - having a strange kind of a day. No spotting but then I went back and recalculated and I'm only 8DPO so one more day until I'm on spot watch. I'm not feeling so great today. have a headache and a bit of a sore throat. I'm super tired and crampy. I'm hoping it's not because I'm coming down with something.

Had some sad news today too. One of my friends (the one who was a bit tactless in telling me about her PG ) just had a M/C. I really feel bad for her. We had a nice chat today. She's eager to start TTC right away as well. Even though I felt really bad for her it was kind of nice to have someone to talk to in person.

Ds is sleeping so I was going to get some housekeeping done but I think instead I'm going to go have a nap.

Sunny goot to hear everything is going so well and your expecting a pink bundle.

Twin Sister I thought there would be a BFP announcement. Maybe we are all going out in sympathy with each other IYKWIM then there all of a sudden wil be an influx of BFP.

Twin Sister I am on spot watch also :lol: me though I am hoping it is late (we didn't ttc this cycle cause I have surgery in 13days) the later it is the more chance there is of been able to ttc after my lap provided it doesn't make AF show early. Has anyone on here had a lap and not got AF within a few days of the surgery?

with me - i did tested today and got BFN..i am not happy about it, so basically i have to wait for AF to show and start anther month.i think i had unovulatory cycle...who knows...but what can you do.
from now on i have decided to take it easy and go with the flow strategy....

Naaa :bfn: for me...I am not certain I am 10dpo though...I thought I would maybe be 9 or 8...not sure...I put faux temps in to see where my crosshairs would be...

I spent all my :bd: sessions with my legs in the air (not waving like i just dont care) and a pillow under my bum, and there was copius amounts of EWCM so there is NO reason whatsoever for those little (i want to say buggers) precious beings to not meet and get it on and give me a baby after over 2 years of trying.....

Im clearly needing to vent...I am very nervous about our looming FS appointment on Feb 1 2010 where we will be commencing the IUI track....I dont really want to do it..but...

No girls i wouldn't be pregnant as we have been safe on my fertile days waiting for this freaking ivf sometimes i wish we had been trying naturally all along never know i could be pregnant with a healthy baby by now anyway just got back from acupuncture and i'm having some AF niggly pains god i hope they come tonight.

Ferrals I hope your AF comes so you can get underway with your new cycle. Its always the way when you need it to come its late and like me I need mine to be late and I bet mine is early.

Coco probably too early for a BFP Hoping that the BFP is only a day or two away.

Cherished1 I love not knowing where I am in my cycle. It never lasts for long with me but before I am working out where I am.

Coco you had a lap a few months back. If you don't mind me asking did you get AF after your lap or did your cycle stay the same? I should be CD10-11 and hoping it doesn't make my AF come again.

Yeah I meant to post about that before sorry..

When I had the lap I was either ovulating that day or had done so the day before as the report showed there was a corpus luteum cyst on my ovary...I had also had my FIRST! lot of EWCM ever though we didnt try...I started spotting at about the same time as normal, 11dpo or so, but after that first af which was quite light mind you, my cycles have been like clockwork. I have a 28 day cycle with one ovary that deploys its egg on CD14 and mostly a 26-27 day cycle with the other ovary. Textbook CM and temping and NO spotting before AF, very mild cramping as opposed to my endometriosis ones prior and NO BLOATING!!! :hooray: Hoping that yours is normal too xxxxx

twin sis, aren't you in the tww as well? (sorry it's hard to keep up with so many people posting). someone has to get bfp this month surely. it's a shame your friend had a m/c too, but at least you can support each other and i bet there will be no more untactfullness.

afm i'm off to docs. the bleeding got worse and it wouldn't surprise me if it was my af now. i really hope it is but i'll see what she has to say. it will have been 3 weeks monday since my d&c but over 6 weeks now since i had the m/c so who knows.

Emmy - hope AF is late and your lap goes well!

ric - I really hope it was just too early for you! AF's not here yet so it's not over yet.

coco - 10dpo is still pretty early. With my last PG I didn't get even a faint line until 11 DPO and it took another week for it to darken up to where it was plainly visible. I was reading one of the TTC journals and one of the girls got BFNs all the way up until something like 20DPO. I'm still hoping for some good news from you.

ferrals - aw i was hoping you maybe got lucky this month. In that case I hope AF hurries up already.

SPF - good luck at the doctor, I hope it is AF and then your cycles can get back to normal. I know how frustrating this must be for you.


AFM - I'm on day 1 of spot watch and so far so good. 3 more days until testing (if I can hold out that long). As it turns out I did get sick. I have this really unpleasant cold with a sore throat and headache. Poor DS is stuck at home with me today watching cartoons while I laze around on the couch (he doesn't seem to mind though since I don't normally let him watch much TV)

Coco - I was just looking at your charts. It looks like your temp usually starts to drop by 10dpo. But this month its still going up. I hope its a good sign for you.

AF still a no show it usually turns up day 28 or day 29 but if it comes today i can't have a BT until monday unless i drive to sydney in the morning between 7 and 8am this is an exact repeat of last month i got them on a saturday and then had to wait 2 days for BT and the results were not good which i wonder if the 2 day delay was the reason i am not feeling real confident now i will be happy if AF now doesnt come until sunday then i can have BT the next morning( just a little luck on my side please)

Hey Maddi, yeah, well it did go down today so hoping that it rises again tomorrow...Im feleing alot of like.. tightness or something across where my uterus would be. Im also feeling stabby pains where my belive my ovaries are. Im not sure what is happening so..

That's so funny, me too. When is your Birthday? Mine's Dec 9th and I really really want to be PG by then. It would be really great to be PG in time to give everyone some good news when we go visit at Christmas too.

I'm also terrified of not being PG by Feb as I really want to have another baby before I turn 35 and I need to be PG before February ends in order for that to happen. Also my EDD was march 24 and of course I want to be PG before that.

Very emotional here too. I cried over some commercial today and then laughed at myself for it. I can't even remember what it was about.

Wldn't stress if you get AF today now, cuz tomorrow will still be classed as day1 of your cycle, but I completely understand how nervouse excited and hesitant you are feeling.

I actually only get this month to TTC naturally, I have to go on the PILL as soon as I get my next AF to put me in sync with the days the Scientist will be here for egg harvest and stuff.
I have to start my first FSH injections on the 25th Jan (my 1st wedding aniv!!)
I'm going through REPROMED in Mildura, they come down from Adelaide every 2mnths on certain days, so everyone has to be on the same cycle days.
We can go to Adelaide on my own cycle days, but my DH will be doing Grape Harvest Jan-June.
Sounds weird going on the pill when we are TTC, but have to get the days exact.

Murraycod - Ha ha your post totally made me laugh. I know I should stay away from the stick but ....I have a confession...... I could not. I am only 10DPO but his morning at 6am I could not sleep since my nose is so darned clogged and so I was lying in bed obsessing. I have not been temping this month but I decided to take one just to see what it might be and it was up in the right range. I finally decided to get up and take a test just to stop me from obsessing. It was of course negative. I know it's a bit early to test so I have not given up hope yet but it was good for me to see that negative to temper my growing excitement a little bit and prepare me for AF possibly showing up this week.

OOOh one cycle of TTC naturally, better get lots of BDing in and you may get lucky. it does seem counterproductive to go on birth Control but if your dates need to be exact then it does make sense. I have 4 friends who got PG as soon as they went off BC so hopefully it will mean only one cycle of IVF (if the natural way doesn't work out)


Coco - ooh your Birthday is so soon. I was already hoping for a BFP for you this month but now I'm REALLY hoping for a BFP for you. That would be such a great B-day pressie. My son's 2nd birthday is a few days after yours (on the 18th) and there will be a lot of PG moms at his b-day party so I was hoping to get my BFP before then. I caved and tested today (a bit early) only to get a negative. Fingers crossed we both get BFPs in a few more days.

AFM - Day 2 of spot watch and so far so good. I can't seem to keep off BB, I have all this anxious energy to burn off. I already confessed to my weakness re: POAS (got a BFN). Still hoping AF stays away. The next few days are going to draaaaaag by.

:bfn: for me with a 10miu internet cheapie today...I know "its not over till its over" but even with my pregnancy that didnt last, at 14 dpo the levels were 53 so would have been detectable at 11 I say..

Well girls my AF is still not here i am never late and now i desperately want it to get this BT over and done with and of coures it wont come
My natropath did say as i went back on vitex to increase progesterone and lower my E2 that it might lengthen my lutenal phase (i think she called it) the last half of my cycle and she wouldn't be suprised if i was a day or 2 late but come on already we have been having lots of vigourous sex all over the house we have walked the dogs gone shopping and nothing is bringing them on i even went out with white pant's and no emergency tampons to test fate and bring it on and still nothing no pains no sign nadda!

Twin sis-sorry your's has turned up i would have gladly taken your AF for you.

CoCo-aww it still might be a bit early like i have said before with my 3 boys my +hpt showed up 4 -5 days before AF was due but with abbi it was the day before and verrrrry faint so don't give up hope just yet.

Hey girls!

I have not caved! Only 8dpo anyway, waaaaay too early. BUT... Yesterday my temp was 36.8 - only other time it has ever been that high was when I was 7dpo on last bfp cycle. And, last night at a party, people were eating barbecued meat, and I just had to get away from it. Now, being vego, people sort of expect that, but it doesn't usually bother me. Last night it made me feel ILL. Hmmmmm... BT tomorrow at 7am, should get results by 12, but won't be able to post until evening. Sorry!
