Thanks Saffy, they didnt tell me how long so i just assumed i take it until they tell me otherwise, im going to the clinic on the 9th and i start the lucrin that day . I am very regular but at westmead they like all there patients to take it so they know where we are at? i will ring tomorrow to double check. thanks xx

Hi girls- just reporting in to say we had my EPU today and we got 10 eggs!!
SOOOO happy, I was geared up for 5 or 6 so I wouldn't be disappointed, now hope they fertilise,

AFM: Well thanks so much for the everyone that asked after me..its been a rollercoaster to say the least..had a worse response this cycle than last..to small not enough of them..(my body does not like being told how to operate) ..double dose puregon...one less egg. :doh:
Anyway they let me stay on the meds for the weekend bloods and US today, there are five small follies now..so now we dont get answers til Wednesday Bloods and US again, and if we do get the okay we now have to go to Melbourne for EPU..
Soooo over it..but this is what it is...so thats me so far..promise I'll stay more up to date this time :dance:

AFM iv already said im on the pill and im upto about day 14 of my cycle when i would usually ovulate wierd thing is i felt like i am ovulating today!! i normally know when i ovulate as i can feel it, but the pill is supposed to stop it so very wierd! Anyways i hope everyone is doing ok xx

oneday - I am not sure about the pill sometimes, this cycle I was on it and got af 2 days before stopping it - good luck with everything this time round
I started the antibiotics for this bronchitis on Saturday and I am feeling worse not better, DH will take me back to GP tomorrow if still no improvement (that will be 5 days on anitbiotics) can't believe I got this sick during tww. af has started this morning and am feeling devestated, I think it gets harder for me to cope with each fail

Frugal, I'm so sorry :( :( you must both be devastated, it is just so heartbreaking to reach this point. I hope you are getting lots of love and support from your family and friends but I know sometimes they just don't really understand. Thinking of you :hug:
Nicoleh, I had really bad bronchitis last year...the only cycle I've ever fallen pregnant! Apparently the antibiotics are good and can help, I'm just sorry you feel so crappy. Here's hoping though - only a few days til you find out. Fingers crossed for you!!

Oneday, Not long to go now! 8 days and counting :) I was on the pill for three weeks, had a period then started Lucrin. You stay on the Lucrin and start your FSH injections a little while later. It's a bit exciting waiting for it all to start and then getting on with it. I hope it all goes smoothly for you. Is it your first IVF cycle?
SpringLola, agg it's so confusing when the opposite thing happens to what you've been told to expect. I hope those little follies pick up and you have good news tomorrow. Fingers crossed for you too.
Kaybee, how's the TWW going? I hope that little blastie is sticking tight. When is your bt?
Well still hanging around...go my eye on a few friends on BB that I want to see have some happy news so will stay for a bit longer then I'll be taking a break til middle of next year when hopefully my body and our bank account have recovered! I'm still charting, just to see how things are going, and it is all over the place. I've never had so many low readings so I guess it's a full-on withdrawal from the drugs. I was taking DHEA for 5 months and I'm glad to be off it - sick of the headaches and irritability and mood swings it gave me - so I'm thinking that's probably the main one that has caused this reaction. Anyway, back soon to see how you are all going. x

oneday- not sure about that, you should't be ovulating on the pill but stranger things have happened I guess, hope its all ok!
springlola- thats a shame hun, there is still a chance good luck for wednesday. I love how you say your body doesn't like being told what to do! Its a battle of the wills between strong drugs and your body! Hope those follies get bigger and you can get to the EPU xx

I got a call from the FS nurse already when DH and I were out for breakfast- got 6 eggs fertilized, so am very happy about that ( DH is chuffed also that his swimmers did their bit), hoping to have 1 or 2 to freeze but trying not to get too excited, ET on for Saturday :dance: please work!

Alice - I haven't made it to the TWW yet - my body was slow to get moving this month so I'm only having my transfer tomorrow. I hope the break is all your body needs to get this dream happening!
AFM - transfer is tomorrow 12:45. The scientist from my clinic called and said they thawed one and it survived and is looking good so far. I'm excited but very realistic about this one. I was very lucky to have a whole batch to freeze way back 3 years ago when I got pg with DS. However I have now done 4 FETs from that batch and still have no baby to show for it. I know that they try to pick the best quality one each time, so I'm really wondering what I'm left with if all of the best quality ones haven't worked. Hmmmm, must stay positive:crossfingers:

Nicoleh, I'm so sorry, I didn't read the last part of your post properly. That sucks that AF has arrived, and it does hurt that much more each time I agree but we have to keep hoping and keep trying. I really really hope that things take a turn for the better with you and I'm sorry for mentioning my pg in my post - that was pretty insensitive considering how things are for you right now. Big :hug: to you. Hang in there and hopefully maybe the bleeding will stop xx
Kaybee, sorry lovely, I've lost track. Good luck for tf tomorrow. I know what you mean about the quality ones...we had two tf this last cycle and were told to absolutely not expect to have any to freeze then we found out that they did freeze one. Can't help wondering if it really was good enough but the FS says all the time that the ratings are more for the embryologists and that they see plenty of grade 3s make it into healthy bubs so we can only hope.

Kaybee ~ thanks hun, I couldnt leave for good, I will be in but probably just not quite as much. If its thawed well hun that has to be a good thing. Dont give up hope - even if the quality is not as good your body might just be ready and it will take, Fx'd tight for you.
AFM ~ Same as Alice, sick of the headaches, still bleeding a bit, bit irratable but other than that Im coping ok. Back to hoping for a natural miracle again and focussing on getting finances in order and fit and healthy. Just got 2nd place on Melb Cup :-)

Thanks Alice, no this is my 2nd STIM our last STIM cycle we got 4 embies-3 BFN and 1 BFP but lost it at 5 weeks :( its been a hard and long road just like most others in here but im hoping that the new clinic and the break will do us the world of good, i have a good feeling about westmead. I cant wait to get started, on the 9th nov when i go to the clinic i will be on day 22 of my cycle, the nurse told me i will start the lucrin that night, i assumed i would stay on the pill til my next period but bit unsure will just have to wait and see what they say on tues. Good luck with everything xx

Well I am totally confused!!!!!!
I rang the clinic and told them about bleeding and they told me to do BT tomorrow instead of Friday. About 1 hour ago I decided to poas expecting nothing to come up BUT I got 2 lines, the 2nd is not as dark as the control but it is pretty clear. Is it possible to get bleeding and still get a BFP??
WOW nicole yay!!!! I so hope it works out for you. I have heard plenty of stories about woman bleeding and still getting a BFP, i also did get a BFP but mine ended in a miscariage. Has the bleeding eased? Keep positive xx

Thanks oneday & Saffy, I had that little bit of spotting Thursday night which was 5dpt which everyone thought was implantation bleed. Today I am 10dpt and this bleeding is heavier than spotting but not heavy enough to use anything, its just pinkish when I go to the loo (sorry if tmi) was 100% sure it was af but so far it has not gotten any heavier. POAS has knocked me for 6, not sure what to think but your info oneday has given me some hope. FX for a good BT tomorrow.

Nicoleh!!!! That's AWESOME news and yes, you can bleed and still be pregnant. Ooo so excited for you! From what I've read the POAS are never false for a positive - is that right everyone? Will be holding out to hear how you go tomorrow. I'll be in Sydney for the night so will check in first thing when I get back Thurs pm. Good luck!!
Nicoleh: That does sound promising..have heard several ladies on hear that have had the same thing happen and still get a BFP...:crossfingers:

Alice: Thanks for the pep talk, its a funny thing my body, they double my dose of Puregon and my levels went down..work that one out..I guess my body is a temple with a mote..LOL..glad your still hanging around..we need you in here, someone has to stay off the drugs to make sense of it all LMAO Mwha!!!

AFM: off soon to town..10 o'clock bloods then 2.30 ultra sound..that like 4 hours or shopping time, DH and I were joking the other night saying that it wasn't the IVF that sent us broke it was the shopping inbetween appointments :p
Really have no expectation for today, just play it as it goes I guess. Not sure we're going back to IVF either, might give the Reversal a go...seeing as my body has its own mind..

nicoleh ~ awesome hun, you can definitely bleed and still be PG, could be implantation or breakthrough bleeding. Will have FX'd tight that this lil one sticks around. It has to be a true positive at 10dpt - good luck and :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy: :D
Just a quick one as on my phone my by was positive but my levels are low 11dpt my hcg is 42

I am able to get on computer now. Not feeling too great about the positive as the nurse explained that low levels could mean an ectopic or chemical pregnancy. I have to go have another test Friday. I am still bleeding today as well, no heavier just the same. Also the GP sent me for a blood test too as she thinks I may have whooping cough. Why does it all happen at once. Never expected the news of a positive test would come with a big but....

Nic - that's really promising news so far. I honestly know how it feels to have that kind of in-limbo result. They say, "yes it's positive, but don't get your hopes up," WTF? Something is happening in there - let's hope and pray it holds on tight. FX

Oh springlola- thats too bad, what a bummer, your body is really trying hard to get out of this isn't it?! I wonder if they will want to try an antagonist cycle ( or if you will want to? ) I can recommend it thus far, it was much quicker and easier. Hope you got some shopping in and bought something nice, I am going to go in tomorrow for a 'look' at the shops lol x
nicoleh- sorry we can't celebrate hugely yet but FX that we can in a week or so, you are being very brave hun

Thanks everyone for your support - I don't feel very brave Saffy, I feel like crap and like I am going to lose it at any second. DH is trying to be positive about it all and hoping it works out. When I got my results it was a nurse I had not dealt with before and compared to the others that are so nice she is quite short and not that nice and she said yes its positive but the numbers are low which is not good - now I have to tell you about ectopic pregnancy blah blah blah....... One of the nurses I know rang me back after about the next BT and she was so much nicer and told me ALL the scenarios for low numbers including the one when it works out.

Sprinlola - what's going on with your body? How frustrating - you poor thing! How are you going?
My transfer went really well yesterday (sorry to jump straight into it springlola), I think. The emby was just starting to hatch. I don't know if this is good or bad. They always tell you it's good, no matter what is happening. Last time (well, one time) it had hatched completely and they told me that was great, but yesterday when I asked about it the scientist said that this one, which was just starting to hatch, was really good, but if it had hatched completely it wouldn't be so good. So, like I said, they tell you what you want to hear. Anyway, it's all up to that little ball of cells now! Please please please please work
kaybee - glad your transfer went well, try to have a stress free tww and fx
i did a poas this morning and now you can barely see the second line so I guess my levels are dropping. Still bleeding and feel light headed and stomach pains.
nicole ~ Terribly sorry hun, you're going through what I went through with my +ve last IVF. My numbers were low and I ended up with a m/c but please dont be discouraged as I have heard of heaps of ladies having very low HCG and it still all worked out in the end and they ended up with a baby in their arms. I wouldnt be too worried about ectopic - I went nuts wondering whether I had an ectopic but I dont think its all that common hun and if you do end up with a m/c you may be able to put it down to your flu and infection which will mean that next time it will work and stick! The timing sucks though I know. Really feeling for you - (((GBH))). Dont give up hope just yet, FX'd tight for you that your lil one sticks and those numbers jump up. Thinking about you.

Hi to anyone else I may have missed.
AFM - Last cycle was another BFN, which is really disappointing. Got the results last Friday, but have been able to start another cycle straight away. Started the puregon on Sunday (450iu), and the orgalutran tonight. I have a scan tomorrow morning, and all going well it wil be another EPU next Friday or the following Monday. I am so tired, and feel like I've been run over by a truck, so I'm not sure it was such a good idea to do two stim cycles back to back......
So sorry to hear the nicole :( it sounds all to similar to my BFP but there is still hope until your BT tomorrow so fingers crossed xxx

Ehm i ddn't know you could do back to back STIMS? i guess every clinic is different. I even had to have a month break between my STIM and first frozen cycle. Good luck with it all and i hope this is the one :)

I got 25 on my bt. Not great. They want me to hold off testing again for a full week. Really hoping it will turn around, but I've had 6 days of (faint) +ve POAS, so I don't think it's likely to.

SpringLola, that really sucks that your cycle was canceled :( :( You did give me a belly laugh the other morning, so thank you for that. We can be the crazy drug-free women together for now but I hope you can get some answers soon and try again :hug:
Ehm, goodluck with your scan this morning. You're a brave woman doing them back to back - try to get as much rest as you can, drink lots of water (I know I tell everyone this but it REALLY does help your body deal with the hormones) and fingers crossed it all goes smoothly for you.
Saffy, one more sleep until transfer. I hope your little embies are dividing and growing and getting ready for a nice nine month journey with you xx
Kaybee, good luck with the TWW. That's great news about your embie hatching - I've never had one of those but from what the FS said that's what we're all aiming for. Grow embie grow!!

I just got my results back, my hcg is now 9 so I have lost my BFP. I also got my other bt back from the GP and I tested positive for whooping cough, gp seems to think this may have been the cause of losing the pg.
Feel pretty bad right now, I know alot of you have unfortunately had this happen, it is really hard to take to know if I had not got sick this may have been a success. DH is taking this hard as well. I feel so physically sick and just can't stop bursting into tears. I am sure I will pull myself together when I start to feel better but right now it feels like things can't get any worse and that this is rock bottom.
I am hoping I recover from this to be able to cycle again in Dec.

I recognise some of your names from the 2WW Oneday and Kass and others from the LTTC after MC thread. Hello to Alice and Saffy. Congrats on the embies Saffy. Good luck with the transfer.
Nicoleh I'm sorry you've lost your BFP. I was devastated when I lost mine.
I'm back now and ready to try again. I'm waiting for AF to show up so I can fit another FET in before the end of the year. AF is due in 3 -4 weeks and I will have 3 weeks to get ready for the FET until the clinic closes for the year. FX she show's up when I need her.

Nicole - so sorry to hear that:hug: please don't be blaming yourself hun - I hope your dr also said that most early losses are due to faults with the embryo that you have no control over. Even if you had been 100% healthy it still could have happened. :hug:
