Edensmumma - even though i don't have any babies yet, i would be interested in a pool day - but i am so busy the coming week, i have appointments all over the place! Yeah my cat was a little beauty.. she was a snotty little thing to - she'd only come to you on her own terms, not when you wanted her... i suppose most cats are like that :)
Your all welcome over my house any time! Except i don't have kids for the other kids to play with and i'm not sure how kid friendly my home is... But just the same i'd love to have guests!

Catherine- I bought a cat from the welfare league just b4 Bodhi was born. I have never had any issues or worries about Bodhi being suffocated. They kinda just get over the baby if u let them have a sniff & shoo them away from the bubbas sleeping spots. I can definatly see how it would worry u tho.
Anna- Lol Bodhi is not so little anymore. He's a big chubba bubba! I like to call him "healthy" haha.
Gill- i'll be up for a pool day for sure. As long as its not wendsday.
U should see my house, it is soooooo not baby or toddler friendly, & i have one of each LOL!! Mya has grown up here tho, so she is used to it. Mind u she still falls down the stairs every now & then.
Amygirl- i'm am currently trying to TT Mya. She will wee in the toilet if she already has her nappy off, not if its on tho. She still will not do # 2's without a nappy. Its such a struggle *sigh* I can't wait till its over.......if u have any tips for me it would be great, sorry i can't be of more help to u.
Amy, Anna and anyone else- Claire?.... i was gonna go to the pool on friday. You guys wanna do Miami pool again?

hey all, im out for swimming this week, I am trying to be really social and will be visiting DH's cousin in BNE on Friday ..
We went to the Farmers markets at the GC turf club this morning... bought some juicy red tomatoas only $3.00 a kilo!!! Bargain.. will be market shopping for all fruit and veges for sure.
Amy, only tips I got from another thread re:TT, were to give them a book whilst on the loo so they don't keep trying to get off; and to drink a glass of warm water before wanting to do number 2's. I haven't tried any of these yet though...."sigh", if only they came trained :lol:

Went to the 'Feast on Burleigh' today....was disappointed there wasn't any face-painting though and the jumping castle was out of bounds for under 3 yr olds :( but still we had a nice morning listening to the band, sipping a Corona & watching Hails have a bit of a boggy :dance: .
Tuesday's I take Hailey to swimming lessons so unfortunately I'm unable to come and meet all you lovely ladies, have a great day though.

Amygirl- was it good anyway? we are going to take eden to Blues on Broadbeach may 18-20. music is so good for babies and kids and Pualie loves blues, i'm really looking forward to her reaction to live music....
Annie lou- i love those markets, you can take pets there and everything. And they have REAL italian bread, i lurve bread.... they/ve got so many yummy things there. I got my baby legs from the american original site. even with the exchange rate they were cheaper than trying to find them somewhere in australia.
p.s. Claire bear had been helping mummies deliver babies all weekend so shes gonna be one tired mumma. hope you're resting Claire!!!!

Im here finally!! 6hrs sleep in two days...WOW. I had a lady who I didnt know contact me on Friday evening in labour saying she desperately wanted a Doula. So off I trotted up to brisbane for that one and didnt get home until 7.30 the next night! ZOMBIE!!! Then ofcourse my other client decided she wanted to go into labour too haha. She went into labour at 3.30am yesterday morning so off I went to brisbane again hehe. I got home about 8.30 lastnight and fell into bed....totally exhuasted but the adrenalin still running. What an experience!. Thankfully we got two gorgeous bubs and two healthy happy mums.
I am definitely up for Tuesday. Are we meeting at 10? Gill when you drive in to Rosser Park, its a one way street so you just follow it around the park until you see us. I think near the bbqs is nice so the kids can feed the ducks etc.
AmyGirl, I found the best thing with TT for #2's is to be incredibly patient. Its all you can do unfortunately. They will do it when they are ready and not before. My little man was doing #1's for quite a while before he did number 2's, but he did it on his own in his own time :) One day he just thought, oh I might hop on the toilet to do this and he did. Time to get the camera out! haha. I actually found that getting one of those toilet seats with the steps really helpful.
Catherine, it must be great to have hubby home for the week. Look forward to catching up with you soon.
Yep scan is on Friday! soooooooo cant wait. Im really starting to feel baby move now. I just hope it doesnt have its legs crossed this time. Cheeky little thing...

Mummabear - Whoa.. what a weekend! Yes it is lovely having Daniel home - he heads back to work Wednesday this week, but least he was home for the weekend :) BTW - i have my fingers crossed for you for a girl! I'm not sure if i already mentioned.. but we have ALREADY (which is pretty unbelievable) been told that we are having a girl (really wanted a boy :()... I keep dreaming that it really is a boy, he just has a really little willy!

Well i just got back from my mummies house down near Ballina & what a tyring drive that is! Bodhi almost slept the whole night through lastnight WOOHOO!! Only woke up at 11:30pm & 4:30am. I really hope this is going to be a regular thing. Miss Mya slept with nanna & of course hogged the whole bed all night LOL so nanna was a bit tired this morning ehehe.

Taralee, we dont have a playgroup as such, just a lovely bunch of mums with gorgeous bubs and we all try to get together once every so often. We usually arrange it through the sight and we LURVE meeting new ladies, so wherever we meet today feel free to come down. The bubs are all ages as you can see with the profiles.

morning all.. disturbed nights must be going around... I had olivia awake all night.. we saw a lady dressed as a fairy yesterday and she gave olivia a fairy feather and told he to put it under her pillow and the fairys would come and visit her in dreams.. well at midnight Olivia decided that she hated fairys and wanted them to go away. we had tears and all sorts of activity,, then at 3am alex woke up.. .so tired.....i am out for today,,
