Hi!

We had a huge day heading out your way Nikki and Tracey for my SIL's baby shower! I drove with a car full - Mum and my sister squeezed in as well. Louis loved it and was the centre of attention showing off to everyone!! He's so funny...he so looovveesss attention! LOL! Didn't get home to late and have just got the bubs to bed and cleaned up!
We're getting new photo's taken at Myer tomorrow morning - we need to update our family photo...I'm not sure what we should all wear yet - shall work it out tomorrow...

Cindy - Wow at Tori having such a huge sleep!! She must have been buggered...Louis only had a 30min nap again today and that was on the way home...I'm so sure he's going to end up dropping his day sleeps before too long...maybe he'll just be fine without one when we're out but I'll make sure he has one on the days we're home (for my sanity!!)
I'm sure Charlotte will grow out of her attachment to you...once she realises that Al is her daddy I'm sure everything will be fine...
Thats great you got housework done - My house is feral at the moment...tidy but very dirty! I think we'll try and get it done tomorrow arvo.
Wow on Charlotte sleeping through!!! Thats fantastic!!! I'm very jealous - hehehe.

Tracey - hhmmmm - no, I didn't get a good nights sleep - Poor Dylan woke up crying and had lots of farty bums..I just brought him in with me but he was very unsettled. Luckily the boys slept in until 9am for me though!! Wow - you guys are good holding the party at your place!! He seems like he must have been a young Dad to be turning 50?? Good luck with the bding!! Bugger that Jamie can't make it on Monday....

Nikki - Yeah - It's going to be heaps of fun - the kids will have a ball!!! (and us too!) I'm so having a glass of wine after I give Dylan a feed - LOL! I'm such a giggly mess when I have a drink but I'll be having fun! hehehe. Have fun horseriding!!!
Thats such a great idea - It would be great to meet up with everyone! Maybe we should all take a holiday and meet Melissa up in QLD!!! hehehe.

We're putting up Louis' big bed this weekend!!! I'm so excited. I can't wait to put his Wiggles doona cover on it!! hehe.
Dh had a great night but I'm so cross with him...after promising not to do anything silly he let his brother drive his work car home DRUNK!!! With him in it as well... he said he wasn't going to drink drive but I'm like whats the difference??? I was so angry - he got a bit defensive but I'm like - just think about what it would be like for me trying to grieve and raise 2 babies on my own. Anyway..I got a bit carried away but it's just ridiculous. I said he just should have caught a taxi home...I'd rather him spend the money on that the get in the car with a drunk driver...Sorry for the vent but it really upset me...

K - better go to bed - I'm wrecked!!

yes kristie,i can see your point totally on that one,thank goodness he got home ok.hopefully he will think it over before doing that again.have fun putting up louis big boys bed.yeh... we will come to qld,watch out melissa we are on our way.hehehe!
we put chantelle to bed at 7.30 and now she is up again with heaps of energy,she is on the laptop with james looking at the wiggles website....oh dear could be a late night.

Kristie - I too can see what your point is with Michael last night - i would have been the same, poor al has no friends here so atleast thats not something i have to worry about, he just doesnt go out!

I was meant to be going to a surprise 30th tonight but couldnt get out of the house tori was to attached tonight! I wil just have to catch up with my friend some other time, i am feelign crapy about not making it though, i have known her since we were 5, we met at dance class and then ended up at high school together too! I cant even just pop in now coz she is all the way over in mill park! Whats with all these people living so spread out over melbourne!

Kristie, Good to hear your DH got home safe and sound. As much as I love my drinkies (he ha), alcohol can sure make us do some pretty dumb things at times. Don't blame you at all for being cross with DH. Being a parent has made me much more conscious of DH and my mortality. There is a little guy (in my case, and 2 little guys in your case) who count on us for everything. We've gotta keep ourselves safe. ;)

Rachael so sorry to hear Milo has bronchitis. Poor little guy. Sending him loads of get well quickly vibes. Hope he is feeling back to his old self quickly. xx

Cindy, Sorry to hear you couldn't make it out to help celebrate your friend's birthday on Friday night. Tis hard to continue to be the reliable partying friend we once, now that we've got the responsibilities of dealing with our kids. I am sure your friend will understand why you couldn't be there. Maybe you could arrange to spend some time together as a special belated celebration.

Tracey, Wow you are good having your FIL's party at your place. Hope it all went really well. How nice having a young FIL. Must change the dynamics of the relationship. You are probably more like mates. Can you believe I have a sister and brother who are 50! he ha. I am actually closer to them than my younger brother. My dad had a 20 year gap between kids (after his first wife died). This means my dad turns 80 yes, eighty, this year. Amazing huh! I can't believe it myself. We're planning a HUGE celebration for his birthday this year.

DH and I have just been to the movies for the first time in longer than I can remember. We went to see Spider Man. Not my first choice, but at 10am there wasn't a lot to choose from. It was surprisingly good actually, and we really enjoyed the escape from our lil boy. he ha. Soooo rainy here that it literally hasn't had a moment without rain since Thursday. The weather is so wild that the ferry wharf near our house sank into Sydney Harbour overnight. Amazing huh! Anyhoo, better dash. We've got some friends popping in shortly. Hope you Melbourne guys have fun together tomorrow. Wish I could pop in to join you.

Kirsty Glad you had a nice time at the movies. it is nice to get some couple time without the kids once in a while. WOW on the weather you are having, that sounds pretty frightening. It is nice to have a FIL that young, we are great friends. I cant beleive your dad is going to be 80! Jamies parents were 18 when they had him so they are very young parents. My parents are in their 50s and 60s.
Cindy bummer about not getting to go out to your friends party. I am sure that they will understand though. Hope Tori was better today for you.
Nikki LOL about Chantelle being up that late playing on the wiggles web site, thats so cute. I hope she didnt keep you up too late.
Krisite MEN! I guess they dont look at things the same way we do. I am glad Michael got home ok but I hope he understands in future that still isnt the safe way and catches a taxi.

Well Jamie has made a delicious toblorone cheese cake for the BBQ tomorrow. He told me to make sure he gets the credit for making it. LOL I cant cook you all know that :)
Jordan has just gone to bed, late for him. He didnt wake up till late from his afternoon sleep and then we didnt eat dinner till 8. We had roast chicken and it was devine. So pleased it was worth the wait.
Jordan has now taken to peeing on the floor whenever he has his nappy off. Tonight again I had to rinse him under the shower and mop the floor. this morning he shat on the floor whilst I was getting him undressed for the shower. OOPS. I cant wait till he is toilet trained.
I am hoping Jordan behaves tomorrow and doesnt get too cranky like our last catch up.

We got the most gorgeous photos taken at Myer today!! I can't wait to pick them up!! So cute. Got some of the boys together and this gorgeous one of Dylan - it's 3 in a row and has just his hands, then one of him and then one of just his feet! and we're getting Dylan written on it and his dob! In such big trouble though because I've spent $500 on them! Whoops...
I'm so buggered...I've been running around with the boys out so much at the moment and I"m really getting exhausted...After tomorrow I'm sooo going to take it easy for a while until I get my energy back...
I'm excited for tomorrow. I have to make salad in the morning...I hope it tastes good!

Nikki - Hope you got some sleep last night! Cheeky girl for being up late! The kids are going to have so much fun running around tomorrow!! Louis has been missing heaps of sleeps lately...we so need to get back into a good routine...Hope you had fun horseriding today!

Cindy - Bugger at not getting out to the 30th - I'm sure you'll be able to catch up another time...
Michael doesn't have very many friend but the ones he has are dropkicks...his brother especially - heavily into drinking and pot - actually all of his friends are. It drives me nuts. They're just not normal...hehe. So whenever he goes out I worry...He's old friend (lives in qld now) who he used to go out with even had friends that were ex heroin addicts and drug dealers...Then he would wonder why I didn't want him to go out very often! He's been in a foul mood since he went out as well which makes me so mad - He complains that he's tired etc but he's done that by choice!! Drives me crazy. He doesn't realise that it happens everytime he goes out on a bender....AAAGGGHHH (sorry for the vent - can you tell we've been fighting again tonight??)

Rachael - Bugger that Milo is sick and that we won't be catching up tomorrow! Hopefully we'll see you soon...

We had a great day today at Nikki's bbq!!! Was very funny to see you tipsy Nikki! LOL! and I was a little that way myself! The kids had a ball running around! Was a slow trip home and then dh decided to go on a scenic route and took a wrong road - took us 1h 45m to get home - aarrrggghhh! Nikki, your house is gorgeous!! Perfect for the kids! Tracey - was great to see Jordan getting around everywhere so well - I love his curls! Cindy - Was great to see Charlotte awake - LOL!!! I think she may have even cried more than Dylan today! hehehe. Hope you got home safely!

Got a message on the way home that my sister had a car accident today but was ok. Someone ran up there bum while she was stopped and turning right...her and the kids have got a bit of whiplash but are ok..she was in her boyfriends brand new club sport as well! both cars needed to be towed...I'm so glad they're ok though!!

So going to bed - I'm exhausted! Have fun tomorrow at Dorothy Trace!

Kerrie - Yeah, it would be nice if I look in the mailbox today and there is a letter from the hospital giving me definite dates.

Dad news ladies...Well, he's moving to QLD from NSW soon. I got the 1st piccy of him yesterday too. Wow, he's very rugged looking in a Tommy Lee Jones sort of way. I found out that I may be his only child, as he's gay now, and has a partner of 10 years. They have a rather large fur child(dog) I'm ok with all of it though. He is still my dad, just that he doesn't dig chicks anymore. I've got many friends who are gay, so I'm very comfortable being around gay people. Now I just can't wait to meet him :dance:

I got a sleep in this morning -yeah! But - I can't believe it - I think af has already returned!!! NOOOOOOOOoooooo! After not getting one after having Louis and now already??? No wonder I've been even more of a b lately! hehehe. So not happy about it though! Maybe because Dylans going so far between feeds??? Last night he went 8 hours!! Bugger it was from 6.45-2.35! But I'm not complaining - LOL!

Melissa- Thats great! Will be so good to meet him - and at least you've seen a piccie and know a bit about him now!

Melissa, that sounds great, I'm glad you are getting to meet your dad.

Glad the BBQ was good, sorry we missed it :( I still have an unhappy, velcro boy, it took me over an hour just to have a shower and get dressed today cos he wouldn't let go of my leg, or wanted to be carried around all the time.

I hope he gets better soon, I hate seeing him all grizzly and unhappy. At least he likes his medicine, so there are never any problems getting him to take it...he usually asks for more!

Kristie, good that Dylan is having big sleeps :) Are you sure its AF, and not lochia - sometimes it can stop and start again for a while?

Chantelle and Jordan had a ball at the dorothy dance party this morning. I was so glad that Chantelle wasnt upset to be with me with no Nikki. The kids were dancing even before the show started cause I was singing the songs (how embarassing). The ladies next to me where laughing at them cause they both knew all the moves. They were so cute. The spent a lot of time cuddling each other also. It was SO cute. Nikki I am so sorry you missed it.
Well I dropped Chantelle back at daycare afterwards and i think she will sleep well this afternoon as she look knackered, so did Jordan. We have skipped playgroup this afternoon. I brought him home, put wiggles on (again) and he ate lunch and is now in bed.

Hey, was the cheesecake ok yesterday? I am spewing I didnt eat any.

Rachel I hope Milo starts to feel better soon. Its no good when they are hanging off your legg, makes it near impossible to do anything.

Cindy hope your drive home wasnt too long. Tori is just a cutie, sitting patiently getting her face painted. Is she ok after her accident on the swing with Chantelle? Charlotte was so good yesterday, she is just lovely. Was nice to catch up also.
Nikki hope school is ok today and you dont have a sore head LOL. I will fill you in on all the info about the dance party. I wish I had taken a video camera with me. We will have to catch up more often I think on thursday if you are free as the kids had a great time together.

I think after all that I will try and chill out if Jordan is still asleep as I am knackered after this morning to. I guess I know realise how having twins would be, FULL ON. The kids were so good but I am not used to looking after 2 so had to be super alert, lucky they were so both well behaved.

Well trip to mums up the central coast was cut short as power went out and trees were falling down around us.. power lines came down and the wind was so bad. We all ok and glad we came home early as needed a shower. Was quiet funny as just finished dinner when lights went out and trying to find callum was funny too. He started crying and feeling my way to him. But back and good to be home.

Kristie - Mother nature strikes again! Don't you just love it, when she withholds that miserable AF for so long while you are with child and then, out of the blue AF comes back without announcing her arrival.

Tracey - A mother's work is never done...No really new tricks atm, but a few words that he's uttered that we'd like him to not utter again. You know...the 4 letter one that starts with F. Well, it sounds like it, so we try and discourage it by saying another word similar, truck or duck. It's amazing what they come out with, just didn't expect it this early on. Nan is another one he's been practicing all weekend. Thankfully we can usually say nan and he changes to saying that instead of the naughty word.

I know the feeling Melissa. My older DD likes saying "*****" cause that slips out of my mouth when something goes wrong. It's amazing how often they pick up words and usually the ones you'd rather they didn't!

No Melissa mum is up high and with bush around us. But the falling trees were scarey...But it seems to be easing now so that is good. I just feel for that family of 5 (mum dad girl2 and girl3 boy 9) that drowned in that car that got swept away. Not to mention the 40 year old man swept in the drain and man that died with that tree falling on him and the 50 year old couple. I find myself thinking of them. Very sad. Just goes to show how life can end so fast.

Rachael - Poor Milo still so unwell...Hope he's feeling better soon...Yeah - I'm not sure - maybe still Lochia - All seems very weird and after a few niggly pains this morning I haven't had any period pains...also just started the mini-pill again last Thursday so thinking maybe it's just messing things around a bit...I suppose I'll just have to see...

We had a great day yesterday, its always so much fun when we all get together! The kids all have a ball too! We ended up getting home rather late though coz charlotte decided it was feed time as soon as we hit the westgate bridge so had to stop and feed her etc!

I had charlottes 8 week check up today and the boofa is huge! She is just under 5kg, she is about 800gms heavier than tori was at the same stage and 3 cms longer! she is going to be a monster!

glad the cheesecake was a hit, I made banana cake today (if you can all it that) it looks awful. I will have to see how it tastes.

well hello everyone,
firstly OMG i had such a good time on monday,i really enjoyed all the noise and mess and happy faces,everytime i looked around the room i could see that everyone was having a really good time.micheal,al and dale all did so well since that neither of them really knew anyone and they settled in and seemed quite relaxed.my gosh i was definantly very ****y,all of our other friends and family thought it was quite ammusing cos i dont really drink but i polished off about 8 cans....woohoo!wasnt there alot of kids,was about the same ratio to adults.i think we had about 40 odd people there.i really really had fun,gee werent my floors black,HEHE!
i have had a pretty horrible day today.my boys were fart assing around all morning ,i had to leave for uni at 8.10 am and neither of them would get organised and i lost the plot.i smacked corey around the back of the head very hard 3 times then dumped him out the front of the school in the rain with only 1 shoe,no jumper,no breakfast,and no clean teeth or hair.i called him every name under the sun and sped off.then i cried all the way to school and through the first lecture cos i felt so ashamed of myself and just kept thinking about how sad he would have been,i rang grant and dobbed on myself and he was very unhappy with me.i left school early and waited for him to come home from school and smothered him with apoligies and kisses and cuddles and told him that no matter what he does or will do,no child ever deserves to be abused like that.he was very sad at school and cried for thye first part of the morning, a teacher asked him what was wrong and he told them about my bad behaiviour,i told him not to feel bad and that all children should report abuse because in some cases they genuinly need intervention.i am bracing myself for a call from childrens services now......
we also had a very very bad night last night with chantelle.she woke at 1am and screamed to get out of her cot till 3am,when she finally fell asleep harry woke up to be fed etc,me and grant got about 3 hours sleep early this morning as we had a meeting with family last night until midnight.tweedle are ringing tomorrow to assess wether i need there service and i am going to be pleading with them.
school was really hard today and i have an assignment due in 2 weeks already and it is huge,i just dont know how i am going to find uninterupted time to do it unless it is after 8.30 when all the kids are in bed but i will not be at my best mental capacity at that time of day.
tracey,chantelle spent all last night telling us all about the wiggles.once again thankyou so much for helping her to have that experience,i really am disapointed i didnt get to whatch her excitment and interaction of the concert.you are so lovely and thoughtful.
cindy,can you ask al how he feels about going to the essendon melbourne game friday night the 29th of june.

Nikki- You poor thing! Doesnt it just feel so crap when you lose the plot and you know even at the time that the other person doesnt deserve it! Corey knows how much you love him though!
Uni sounds pretty full on, I wish we were closer and i could take the kids for you so you could study. Maybe you need to put them in care for and extra day now and then to study?]

Can i just say i am sick of stinky nappies, tori and charlotte are obviously having a clean out day today and i am sick of it! My house stinks!
I took tori to the doctors today coz she has a cough but he says it sounds alright at this stage but that we have to keep an eye on it due to al having has asthma she is very likely to get it too so he doesnt want us to do swimming lessons next term, thinks she will end up sick if we do!Bugger, coz she loves it but i see where he is coming from!
Ok, i must get going charlotte is finally asleep , something she isnt to keen on during the day this week(i have had to hold her all afternoon!) Time to organise takeaway chinese!

Cindy - I hate the extra smelly nappies too. I just hate going into Benjamin's room atm. Whew! He's got lemon scented bin liners, but they aren't working.

Had a rubbish night sleep but luckily had a great day. Went to the gym this morning and I'm already sore!! Kids are good - Dylan hasn't wanted to sleep all afternoon though which has been a bit tough!

Nikki, Sorry to hear you've had a tough day. I am sure all your kids know how much they are loved and that every now and again us mummy's need to be cut a bit of slack. Sounds like you've got to fit a lot into your days. There's bound to be a few teething problems. Big hugs to you. Great suggestion of Cindy's re getting your littlies into care for an extra day. You'll find your own groove with study times and fitting things in around your family over time. You know the old saying "Rome wasn't built in a day" - I think that might be a good thing to remember as you adjust to this new studying phase. xx

Tracey, Think I'd like to live in your house - cheesecake, banana cake. Yummmm makes my mouth water. I haven't cooked a dessert just for DH and I for toooo long. Will need to make more of an effort methinks!

Cindy, I am sooo with you re the stinky nappies. I can't wait for Gussy to take care of his toiletting on his own. It's not going to be any time soon methinks. Because he's on a 100% liquid diet it means that his bowel motions are 100% liquid and as frequent as a young bubba (like 6 plus a day). No idea how we'll manage this once toilet training begins. He knows when he's done a poo, but I don't think he gets much warning before, cause it's basically like he constantly has the runs.

Melissa, Like your thinking on the scented bin liners. May have to add them to my shopping list!

Gus has now reached that delightful stage of announcing to the world when he's done a poo. We were sitting in a hotel restaurant having breakfast on Monday morning and he yelled at the top of his lungs "Mummmm mummm, oh no! oh no! Big big big poooo." Then when he and I were walking out of the restaurant looking for the bathrooms, he said again for the benefit of anyone who hadn't heard him earlier "aghhh big poo, Blahhh peeewwww peeewww"... etc you get the drift. Hmmm yes I was laughing and embarassed all at once. I love that he understands what a poo is, and that he finds the nappy uncomfortable when it's dirty etc, but it was pretty embarassing none the less. Everyone at the tables around us chuckled to themselves.

Gus's talking is really improving. He made up his own little joke while we were in the car yesterday on a longish journey. He would point to a big truck and say "it's a bus" then he'd giggle and say "no no no, it's a bike, he he no no it's a big truck". He's such a silly moo laughing at his own jokes. He seemed to like that joke cause later in the day he was pointing to birds and calling them horses and cows and then laughing and correcting himself etc, you get the drift. he ha fun times!

I got a great ebay bargain last week. It is a Little Tikes Cosy Coupe. Brand new in factory sealed box for $89 with no postage cause I could pick it up. Can't believe it. Amazing huh! I've stashed it in the garage to keep for the wee man's birthday. He's going to sooooooo love it!

What do you guys do when you come across bullys at the park? There's a little boy who's about 4 that goes to a park we visit a lot. He's a shocker of a kid. He spits in other kids faces, pushes them over, is rough and pushes past little ones so they fall down the slippery slide and the worst thing is he's a biter. Last week he bit a little boy who was about his age. The bite was so hard that it drew blood and left teeth shaped imprints on the little boy's back. It's horrible. His grandfather is the one who takes him to the park and he just sits in the sun reading his newspaper and snoozing. Whenever he's there none of the other parents can relax for fear of what the bully boy might do. So far he hasn't done anything to Gussy cause I'm always right beside Gus whenever that bully is about. The grandfather doesn't speak English so talking to him isn't doing any good. The bully boy seems to me to be seeking attention from the other parents through his behaviour, so I kind of feel sorry for him. But then he's getting old enough to understand that what he is doing isn't making him popular - but so far that doesn't seem to have an impact on him. What would you guys do? I've tried talking to him and playing with him and all I got for my troubles was a glob of spit on my shoe. Hmm lovely isn't it. We go to lots of different parks, but this one is the best one for Gussy's age. It's definitely designed for the toddler. I think the bullyboy is bored there and needs a more challenging park, but how do you communicate that to someone who doesn't speak English...

Kristy - Do you know what nationality the grandpa is? Some cultures unfortunately think they can walk in over here and act like they do in their own country. It depends if the boy is being brought up in the ways of the old country? Biting and spittng is uncalled for! It's a wonder that grandpa hasn't had a mum or dad fly off the handle at him. Ringing children's services may be going over the top and you can't just walk up and spank him for his actions. It's a really tricky situation :doh:

My friend has taught another friends daughter a phrase "STOP! Don't touch my body!" it works wonders apparently. She is in the children's services and I'm going to be teaching Benjamin it too, kind of a stranger danger thing also. She also suggested to teach him "Belt on, me safe"

a suggestion could be to have a chat to a few other parents that look to be a similiar nationality and see if hey are willing to approach the man with you.maybe you might hit the jackpot and they may speak the same language and they could gently but firmly explain the difficult situation the boy is putting you all in.nikki

tweedle just called and they have put us on the waiting list for next month,they will give me a hand to help my little munchkins sleep past 5am and settling tecniques for chantelle when she wakes throughout the night.she has been doing it for a few weeks now so i am beginning to see a habit forming.
i got a huge part of my assignment done last night when the boys were at basketball training,they play tonight so i will try to get some more done then as the babies will be asleep.

They (at daycare) keep telling me its different when they are under three, and given me all this info about it, but I doesn't make me feel any better. I still wanna cry every time I pick him up from creche and someone's parents have had to sign the accident book.

Hi Ladies, well I went shopping this morning and bout me 2 tops and Jordan some runners and some blunnies, they are so cute. GO BIG W they were quite cheap. Dancing was good last night, we had a diff teacher as our usual one was sick. The discussed the dance costume for the concert.... black pants, white shirt with black overalls. white gloves and socks and black dance shoes. Seems simple enough I guess. Jordan is getting so confident with his movements now, its so exciting, he is starting to cimb which can be scary at times but I cant wait for him to catch up to all the other kids.
Last night Jordan had a majot hissy fit when I was eating some potatoe chips. I was handing him a chip but only after he said TA. I am trying to make him say it whenever he wants something. He said it the 1st few times and then he wouldnt say it at all. So he lost it. He went into the kitchen and was head butting the cupboards then he came and smacked me on the face. Well I was so mad I put him in his room and then he came out. Jamie pucked him up as he was beside himself and handed him a chip, and he said TA straight away. OOHH I was so mad he said it for Jamie and not for me, but then I thought maybe he realised by going to his room he was naughty and thats why he said it. Well I hope that this type of discipline will work as I really dont want to start smacking, I dont like it.

Nikki I am so glad Chantelle enjoyed the wiggles and that she was able to tell you all about it. Thats so cute. I am sorry to hear you had a rough morning, I am sure you are being way to hard on yourself, we all loose it at time. You have so much on your plate that it would stress anyone out. I am sure Corey knows how much you love him so I wouldnt worry. Maybe this will show Grant that you need some more assistance also, so it might assist the situation.

Kirsty I have no idea what to do about the bully but he sounds like an awful kid. We have a similar little boy at playgroup who pushes others and swings off the slide and kicks other kids. I tell him off but it doesnt really work. His mum is always inside so he is non the wiser. Its hard with the language barrier also. Good luck. OMG is Gus the cutest with his little game, thats so gorgeous. What a clever little tacker.

Cindy I hope that Toris cough gets better soon and that Charlotte gives you a rest today and settles in the cot or rocker. Holding her would be a little awkward while looking after Tori also. Hope the Chinese was nice YUMMY

Krisite So glad you are having fun at the gym, thats excellent. I hope you had a better night sleep last night. Its great to feel sore after a work out, shows you you did something worth while. DOnt worry my banana cake was a disaster, I ended up throwing it out, it was awful.

Melissa LOL at the lemon scented liners. DO you have a nappy bin in his room? We took ours out ages ago as his room always had a stench. Now they go in the kitchen bin or if feral straight into the outside bin.

Rachel I am sure the biting is just a phase and nothing nasty. I too would feel bad aswell. But Milo is so sweet I am sure he will grow out of it.

Sounds like the time out in his room worked a treat! Louis sometimes gets frustrated at the moment and grabs my face and pinches really hard the little terror. I've smacked him a couple of times on the hand cos it really hurts! But I know I shouldn't...so hard sometimes...although of course stopping hitting by hitting will never work! hehe.
Sometimes I think the best part of making a cake is the batter !hehehe. I always eat so much and I miss it so much when p/g cos of the raw eggs in it....

I just popped in here for a second and heard a strange rattling sound happening in the lounge room. Benjamin was up on the front of my TV cabinet and had stuck the Video he had just watched into the VCR backwards. I saved it before it got wedged but OMG! He's just too quick these days for me. Blink and he's into something else.

Tracey - No, we still have a bin in his room atm. BTW, Benjamin enjoys smacking us from time to time. Often it hurts also and he gets quite nasty about it. Yesterday morning I was woken abruptly out of sleep when the little bloke punched me in the eye. He hugged me better and then did it again. At that point, I ordered him out of our room and into the lounge room. He's such a bully!

Kristie - Benjamin's worked out that he thinks it's ok to hit back at us if we give him a smack. Even if it's on the hand. Half the time he laughs at us now. He doesn't answer you if you yell at him either, but knows where his room is if you send him there. Oh, the fun a games we have as parents :rolleyes: just wait til they hit the dreaded teenage years...

mmm yes the dreaded teenege years,i am amost there.my son james is an angel,he has always been very softly spoken,calm and polite.he never swore or lashed out at his younger brother.we had always said to people that we got the almost perfect child.BUT he is 12 now and it is all begining to change,he still is a great kid with most things but absolutly hates when we disagree with him and all hell breaks loose,he gets a really nasty look on his face and wont listen to reason,his way is always right.its like talking to a brick wall.we have come to the realisation that he is probably on the verge of puberty.mmmmmm fun.

Hi all

Well I thought I would stop by and try and do some personals and catch up abit. Ive been so busy with my TTC thread and Callum/Melissa that I havent really talk to you ladies. And Im sorry for that.

Well were to begin. Ok Callum is well, very sooky and MUMMY MUMMY atm but I love it, the mummy mummy bit that is. lol. He is saying about 10 words, dancing, playing hide and seek, building blocks, playing with his cars and making the brooooom noise. He is almost 10 kg and eating like a pig. He had today, no word of a lie, 2 weetbix, toast, breadstick for breccy, morning tea we were at mothers group and he had about 20 saltarnas , 3 pieces of cheese, fairy bread, Lunch he had hot meal and custard and for dinner he had crumb chicken with garlic, corriander, basil, tomato sause and melted cheese on the top, carrots ( loves them but only as julianne style) potato with sour cream and cauliflour. Ate most of that then had his yog. One more breadstick then 1/2 bottle of milk. I dont know why he isnt huge but he is on the go all the time. Little piggy.

As for Melissa she had soccer for her school today and they won 9 nil. She scored 4 goals and some girl kicked her in the shines, mind you after the game had finished and I asked mel what she said back. Her reply was " I almost smashed her but decided not to as I know you would have been mad with me mum" Can you believe that. I wouldnt like her to fight but at least say thats not good sportsmanship but oh well. Now her school have won 4 games in a row. There leading how cool.

Kirsty EW yes the weather was pretty bad but all ok now thank God.

deancey glad you had fun shopping. I love Big W. And BEst and less are getting so good now. Yay on the whole of shopping...:dance:lol Im also doing well thanks hun!!

Nikki im lucky. Melissa is a good girl and tells me everything. Some things I dont need to know but Im still glad she does. Ive always told her that if she is truthful then all will be ok. And so far it is. (touch wood)

Krisite I love your new photo its gorgeous. When do you get your new family photos? Yeah i am pleased with the costume, doesnt sound too bad. I was dreading leotard or something like that, I def wouldnt have done that.

Well Kristen came to visit this afternoon with Mia, she is just a darling. I was so pleased as was sitting at home bored whilst Jordan napped.
off to work tomorrow and then we have a friends bday on saturday night.
