Do you sew a lot? If you already have the skills, and do a wide range of stuff, then it might leave you behind, But if you're on your Ls still, or even your Ps, I think it will serve you well.

I just bought a brother and I LOVE IT!!!! Mine's the NS50 I went up a bit because it's going to be my 'forever' machine.
Mind you, if they had some of the 2620s for the price you're quoting, I would've definitely gone for that one

It should come with a little kit of needles and foots (feet?) and the instructions of course. I bought some scraps from spotlight and am just using old material at home while I'm practising. I don't see a point in me buying heaps of exxy fabric when I'm probably just going to ruin it!!! LOLOk next question, what else do you need once you buy a machine????
Two things I'd like to get are a cutting board and roller cutter for fabric (a bit like a pizza cutter). In the meantime I bought some fabric scissors from woolies. Oh!!!! And you'll need thread

FM: do it!!! it's so cheap for a good sewing machine!! I say buy it and ask for something else! haha.. I have no diea what section but she did transfer me to electrics when I called up so maybe around there? Or homewares? I have NO Idea.. I will let you know tomorrow

I am SO EXCITED! I am going to buy some calico and attempt my first pair of ruffles tomorrow! Eek!!
