Oh he is CUTE! Not weird at all! I once made a cat - will find the link and post it, it seriously had demon horns on it I just recently threw it out although the kids though it was a cat and played with it - it scared me slightly! I am tackling dolls for the kids this week - might make drafts first!

thanks Tan. Lol at the cat! I think I might hand stitch the next one...for some reason I can't seem to sew decent corners with my sewing machine

...and HERE is my Advent Calendar. I have not long finished it and it is less than desirable BUT it will do for this year. Next year I will find something a little easier. The ribbon was a little too tricky to get perfect!

It's pretty easy MG, just a little fiddly trying to get the ribbon right and they don't take long at all. They still hang though even if they are a bit amiss!

SS- Just checked out your bear and he's a cutie!!

Just found THIS link for Christmas cards! So easy and cute. I think I have done enough trips to Spotlight though for supplies

Wow, great job with all this sewing guys!! Everything looks great!! Haven't had the computer for a week but I finished DD's Santa sack last week and have been waiting to share!! So here it is:

Didn't end up finding any felt decorations to put on so had to make them myself but I think I did a pretty good job if I do say so! LOL. Had to draw the Angel myself. And then I was really crap at handstitching and it looked dodgy so I ended up going around everything including her name with the sewing machine!! Rather difficult, LOL.

Did everyone line their santa sacks? or did you just leave it raw & hem the top?

Daydream, I didn't line any of mine, but the way I sewed the seams they were all folded over and double stitched.

Great job Heaven and Liv! They look fantastic!

I have finally finished all the sewing I had to do. I did a dress for DD2 as well because they needed a Christmas costume for the end of year performance and I had plenty of fabric left so made her a pillowcase dress
Christmas sewing 2010 | Facebook and it was all finished in time for Summer semester at Uni too LOL

Trill, that's the dress I want to make for DD! But I'm scared!!! I'm not a dress maker! Is it really easy?! And how small is the pattern? DD is rather large (she's almost 4 and the size of an average 6 year old. Damn tall parents!). I have a lovely material picked out!

    Hope the link works

The sash is a separate piece & can be tied at the back or front
