Does Spotlight sell sewing pattern paper?

Just wondering if Spotlight sells sewing pattern paper - the stuff like tissue paper?

Or if not does anyone know where I can get it from? I have been using a very light calico, but need something cheaper and more expendable...

I got 10m roll of 'interfacing' to use for pattern making at Spotlight for under $10 ($7.50?). You can also buy it by the metre.

How about butcher's paper? you know the ones that the fish and chip shop uses to wrap their fish and chips or the butcher to wrap their meat?

I have used baking paper, tissue paper, crepe papre and butchers paper.

My wedding dress pattern was all drafted out onto red tissue paper, was just what Mum and I had lying around at the time!

Hmmm, we use butcher's for our snakes (don't ask) but I think the grease proof paper is better, especially if you're tracing a pattern onto it.

definitely the interfacing rolls..they are nice and wide and you don't have to join bits together to get a pattern piece out.....love the interfacing rolls!

I bought a pack of the pattern paper from either spotlight or lincraft not long ago but prior to that used the baking paper as well

The red tissue paper pinned onto wedding dress fabric would have been too much for me I don't think I would have coped with the risk of staining and stuffing the material But you probably created a calico model first anyway!!

I've used the baking paper but the interfacing is a great idea. Just make sure it is the one that isn't iron on - cheaper too

The interfacing pins really well without ripping. I have some patterns on interfacing i have used over and over. I used to use newspaper, but it tends to tear. You can also easily see through the interfacing to trace off another pattern.

Tissue paper would be good for once off though ( file away that thought)
