Mum and I have never bothered with overlockers. She'd never used one and so never taught me, and my school only taught sewing machines. And it has never been a problem, but a few years back we started discussing the idea of getting one to share. So fast forward to Christmas, where I had no idea what to get Mum for Christmas and I walked past the overlockers in Spotlight and suddenly had a light bulb moment. So because I could get one for a fantastic price (over 50% off) I bought it for us to share.

So here we are, both of us, with a brand spanking new machine, and absolutely no idea what to do next!!

Any suggestions?
