I am just learning too.... I cant weight to start... I just got some fabric at spotlight coz it was on special.... I am planing to make block pattern aswell but make the pattern like I have just done on my Nanna square blanket and then was planing to stich the patchwork onto some minkie materal, so its nice and soft on the other side....
