Bibs and flannels! I just made a set of three flannels and two bibs from cotton terry towelling, which I bound using homemade bias binding in cotton with a gorgeous pattern of tiny aeroplanes/helicopters/hot air balloons. I then appliqueed a little motif of planes or a rainbow or a chopper, etc, on each piece, and I think it makes the most beautiful baby shower gift for my friend who is due with a little boy.
