Thanks Audax, you were right I found a glossary type thing on there which explained it, still not 100% sure, I work better on visual explanations.
I'll have to apply that and what you've said and work on it.
I'm making a pinafore type thing for DD, I've realised how much brain power it takes to think with sewing!
