It depends how much money you have to spend, and what you want to do with it, but probably a janome or brother would be OK as they are reasonably priced can tend to come with a lot of stitches.

Bailey - did you end up finding a beginners sewing machine? How did you go? I am looking for one myself to start sewing again
I want to start trying to make cloth nappies... (need plenty of time! lol)
What machine would i need for that? do you know Rayray?
