A fantastic book is "Dad's pregnant too" by Harlan Cohen. It explains things without patronising or putting men down, which I think so many "dad" books do. DH also subscribed to the weekly email updates which kept him informed.

Another great resource for men is the Beer and Bubs course. They're run in most capital cities and are held at a pub, just for men. They're about 2-3 hours. DH used information from that to really help at DS1's birth. He knew stuff even I didnt know.
