Eat, Pray, Love.
I'm heading overseas next week for a relaxing holiday and want to load my iPad with some good reads.
What were some great books that you read while pregnant, that weren't informational?
They don't even really have to be pregnancy related, just nice reads that you resonated with while pregnant.
I never finished the second book of 50 Shades.. just couldn't continue, so please don't suggest it!
So tell me your favourites and why!!
Eat, Pray, Love.
Perfect choice Amy!
I like The Venetian Contract- set in venice and very well written.
I've read Eat, Pray, Love! It inspired me to travel solo to South America a couple of years ago. Loved it!!
I read Juliet when we went away.
It might be silly for me to suggest as I haven't read it personally however The Help is meant to be fantastic. It's on my 'to read' list.
I second the help! Awesome book![]()
i read 'misconceptions' by naomi wolfe. great read.
i also read 'we need to talk about kevin' when i was pg with ds1. not sure that was such a great idea! lol but i absolutely loved the book
I reckon any book you'd enjoy while not pregnant as well, whatever your sort of fiction...
I read The Red tent while pregnant with ds1 and loved it!
I read Gone with the Wind when I was pregnant. There was a character (minor) in the book that I liked his name so much we ended up using it for our DS. It must have been meant to be.
Enjoy your trip.
