I just got a book voucher for my birthday, so I'm going to have to get a copy... haven't preordered one though, so I hope they won't sold out everywhere...

I have been enjoying watching it on tv for the past few weeks too

I never pre order, cos the queue to picj them up is always longer than the regular queue (wekk it is at my bookshop)

I want to know, when larger retailer slash the prices (on has it for about $25 I think) is it just their own profit margin that the difference affects?

I just watched the thrid movie last night, it was pretty cool. I don't really expect it to be as good as the book, films rarely are, plus then it'd be a minseries!

Michelle, there's no way I'd look at the one on the internet, for me the internet could never replace the experience that is snuggling up with a good book and a hot drink in winter (or cool drink in summer). I'd rather dely gratification and read the real book...

I was watching Sunrise this morning and apparently JK Rowlings has said that the internet leaked version is a true copy but I dont' wait to spoil anything, i want to read it myself from cover to cover.

My SIL just called to see if Viv would be interested in going into Fed Square for the book launch. It starts at 8am but there are lots of things on - dress ups, face painting, roving performers - apparently aerial broom sequence too. I'm going to ask her when I pick her up from school but I know she'll say yes. I almost want to go too, but not sure how Blake will enjoy it. Hmmm, will talk to DH to see if we all go. I have a purple floor length cape I could wear, with a black dress underneath. I'd dress up with the best of them

    I can't believe it!

DP has said that under no circumstances am I allowed to get it until Monday

Apparently we have lots of work to do this weekend and he doesn't want me saying "just one more chapter" over and over so that we don't get anything done.

I think I will have to turn off the TV and radio all weekend so that I don't know what is going on.

    Not happy Jan!

Aw TaffyLou, hope you can hold out till Monday!

I'm getting mine tomorrow... Have a GTT test on Monday (2 and a half hours at Pathology Clinic!) so I know what I'll be doing! My challenge will be not finishing the book before Monday!

    Not long now...

I can't believe that people would bother leaking it. From what I have seen it isn't like they are even gaining anything from it. It just spoils it for everyone.

Someone i guess thought they was being clever but you still need to buy the book to get most of the story as it was only so many pages leaked.

Toys R Us have it on sale for $19.99. Not sure if that is a good price but you have to buy something else as well.

Was there footage of J.K Rowling say the online was real? Because as far as I know she wasn't confirming or denying any of the ones online. Unless there is video footage or audio footage I'd put it down to ppl messing with others enjoyment. No surprise there though.

I was just going to wander on down to get a copy about 11am tomorrow - or is that a stupid idea? I just want to read the thing, not muck around in queues!
