I'm reading Portia De Rossi's book 'Unbearable Lightness' at the moment and it's brilliant - heartbreaking but amazing.

I also just recently read The Kite Runner which was another awesome read and Eat Love Pray is one of my faves.

Next on my list is My Sister's Keeper which will cause a few tears I'm sure!!! The Steig Larson books are also on my 'to read' list

I second any by Jodi Picoult (sp?)
The Patricia Cornwell series would keep you going for awhile!

The tomorrow series is great reading, even as an adult. It surprises most people :-)

If I'm after something I can dip in and out of I go for Cathy Kelly or Monica McIrnerny (loved The Alphabet Sisters)

Jodi Picoult is great, fan of hers here too.

You might like Janet Evanovich too, start with One For The Money, crime novels that are a laugh and have romance (not mushy romance either) in them. Great books. I think there is about 14 of them to this point, all running in sequence.

And for the best ever thriller that you won't put down - Tell No One by Harlen Coben. I read it from start to finish in one sitting and it always sold well when I worked for Collins, and then the buyer would come back within a day or two to get his other books!

I have the whole Patricia Cornwell series, and Janet Evanovich.. (its up to 16 now ).I also love Nelson DeMille and Richard Laymon.

Nelson has a few series, I love the John Cory novesl the best. Richard is like Stephen King but grosser!! Also heaps of Dean koonz too.

Most of my books are singles though.

If you like vampires, action, and romance (read s e x) then you can't go past the True Blood series by Christine Harris. Very easy to read as well. Another easy to read chick lit series is the Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella.
Second Jodi Piccoult, especially My Sister's Keeper (much better then the movie), and Plain Truth.
I also liked Tully by Paullina Simons
