    I'll start...

Have you read all 4 books?

Yep and I am half way through Eclipse for the second time!

    Which one was your favourite?

I actually really loved New Moon the second time around. The first time I read it I was so anxious and just wanted to rush through to the end to find out that everything was going to be ok! But when I settled into it the second time around, I found all of the Quilute stuff to be really cool and I actually warmed to Jacob a lot more!

Overall though, Breaking Dawn is my favourite. The sexual tension was just getting to me by the end of Eclipse and I needed to see some action! I thought the ending was PERFECT. I cried for two reasons - 1. Because of what Bella did and 2. Because I couldn't read anymore!

    Have you seen the movie?

Yes - 3 times at the movies and then I downloaded it so I have seen it probably 20 times now! I have also pre-ordered my Special Edition DVD from Sanity (thanks for the heads up Amber!)

    What did you think?

I LOVED IT!! I find it hard to believe that Stephenie Meyer didn't write the part of Edward for Rob Pattinson. He was absolutely perfect for the part. His looks were almost identical to what was described in the books and he really portrayed Edward's personality perfectly - tormented, broody, angry. I thought the chemistry between Rob and Kristen was insane!

She wasn't how I imagined Bella though - she was a bit too serious.

Are you an Edward or a Jacob fan?

    EDWARD

    Why?

AlthoughI went off him a tad in Eclipse when he became all protective, I think he is way better than Jacob. He is the perfect guy - I love the way he loves Bella. So old fashioned, gentle, protective and completely smitten.

    What is your favourite quote?

"Before you, Bella, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars, points of light and reason....And then you shot across my sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire; there was brilliancy, there was beauty." ~Edward Cullen

Have you read all 4 books? Which one was your favourite? Ive read Book 1 and am going to start Book 2 this arvo.

Have you seen the movie? What did you think? Im going to see it this arvo, one of THE last sessions at our cinema, 3:30pm. Im soooooo desperate to see it now Im braving it with my 13mth old

Are you an Edward or a Jacob fan? Why? Hmmm have to be Edward at this stage but it could change seeing as obviously from what I gather Jacob becomes a bit of a central character in the following books. Why? Because he is the kind of man every women wants to be with, pity our guys dont have hundreds of years to learn everything he has that makes him so fabulous haha I think his intelligence and eloquence are what appeal to me most. He's just so darn interesting.

    What is your favourite quote?
"Bella, I couldn't live with myself if I ever hurt you. You don't know how it's tortured me. The thought of you, still, white, cold? to never see you blush scarlet again, to never see that flash of intuition in your eyes when you see through my pretenses? it would be unendurable. You are the most important thing to me now. The most important thing to me ever."
    *sigh* so romantic

I can't remember the title of my favourite because I gave the whole series to my niece but it was the second one.
I'm more a Jacob person. Not only do I believe that real men don't sparkle but Edward is just a bit toooo emo for my me. I've always been more into rough and tumble kinda guys than metro-sexuals so Jacob and the motorbike are more to my taste than Edward and his volvo (I know volvo make some awsome cars but even so 'bloody Volvo drivers'....)

A completely DIFFERENT love story. Don't think of Vampires and Warewolves in the fantasy sense - somehow the author makes it completely plausible for these characters to exist in real life!!! It completely sucks you in from Chapter 1. It's also a relatively easy read - some parts are complicated as you dive into it, but mostly it is just easy and thoroughly enjoyable!

K - I can send you the first book if you like?

Ditto Amy Kitten! Im totally not a sci-fi/fantasy/vampire kinda person (Interview with a Vampire is the ONLY vampire thing I will ever admit to liking), but its really not what you expect it to be! She definately makes it realistic and plausible. You kind of forget its based around vampires and just get sucked in by the complex relationships and stories in the plot. A fabulous peice of writing.

ok, i'll get outta the twilight closet! LOL!

Have you read all 4 books?

Yes, i have read twilight 3 times and new moon twice.

    Which one was your favourite?

I found new moon to be my favourite. the sequence of bella in the forest is really powerful i reckon.

    Have you seen the movie?

    yes.

    What did you think?

i liked what they tried to do with an extremely tiny tiny budget. that said, the makeup dept were terrible and carlisle looked ridiculous with that white face paint. i was tempted to pre-order it from amazon, but i will be waiting to buy it in a few years, when i hope they will have a box set kinda thing happening. look forward to the next as i imagine they will have real money to use this time...loved seeing the scenes of it in the oscars yesterday!!

i liked the serious nature of bella. i felt that she was quite an intense and internal character so that appealed to me. liked jacobs casting, but still not sold on the edward actor...he looked a bit weird at the oscars too.

Are you an Edward or a Jacob fan?

    EDWARD

    Why?

gotta love a vamp! LOL! need i say more??!!

    What is your favourite quote?

dont really have one...may get back to this one! LOL!

I will be back to answer the questions later when DD goes for a nap. But I wanted to ask did anyone spot the wonderful Edward Cullen (or at least the actor who plays him) sitting behind Mickey Rourke (I think thats his name) at the Oscars.

Just for the record I have read the series 3 times.

Have you read all 4 books? Which one was your favourite? Yes I have read the series twice so far. Its hard to pick a favorite cause I love all of them. I would say Twilight just cause it started my whole OCD. But I did love Eclipse the tension was unbearable! I am still not fussed on BD though I feel it was rushed and there was way to much mushed in there! I still cried in so many parts though!

Have you seen the movie? What did you think? I have seen the movie 4 times I think? lol! Yes all at the cinema no pirated copies here :P The first time I saw it I think I was rushing it to end cause i wanted to see the good bits! I wasn't overly impressed with Bella (Kirsten) and didnt think Rob was beautiful enough to be my Darling Edward! Second time though i was in love! Swoon! I really wish they didnt skip the blood typing part though it would have been funny!

Are you an Edward or a Jacob fan? Why? Umm EDWARD!!!!! First time I despised Jacob, why did he keep trying to steal Bella away from the man she loved! But I eventually grew to love him! And having the Jacob book made me love him ( like a brother) even more!
Why do I love Edward, He is charming, thoughtful, intelligent, loves music! And drives a Volvo! Yes I have ans always will love Volvo's ( we had one as a kid!)

    What is your favourite quote?
"Sleep my Bella, dream happy dreams. You are the only one that has ever touched my heart, it will always be yours, sleep my only love."-Edward
    "Bella I can't live in a world where you don't exist."-Edward
    "Penguins, lovely"-Edward
    "Fall down again, Bella?"
"No, Emmett. I punched a werewolf. in the face"-Emmett and Bella
"if i could dream at all it would be about you. and I'm not ashamed of it" -Edward

Can I just say, while an alright watch, I was a tad disappointed in the movie Sometimes I just wish theyd make it 3hrs so they could not have it be so choppy, I certainly wouldnt object to 3hrs of Edward Cullen I agree with Amy on the bella-too-serious comment but she definately fits the character. Glad I read the book before seeing the movie, lots of little important bits got missed that it was good knowing while watching.

Bought and started book 2 yesterday and I think Im already half way through, so not what I expected! Might have to go get book 3 and 4 on thursday hahahaha

Have you read all 4 books?

No, just the first one so far, waiting for my gf to find the rest of her books

    Which one was your favourite?

The first one so far... although I will update this later.

    Have you seen the movie?

    Yes and I hated it.

    What did you think?

IIt was so flawed, the character respresentation of edward SUCKED! He is over a 100 yrs old, he would not fumble and stutter over his words. In the book he was so exact in what he wanted and what he knew, he had an awesome sense of humour which was very attractive to me and it wasn't even portrayed in the movie. The movie didn't do much for me it all. It didn't develop any of the characters enough to understand them. Even DH who hasn't read the book said the movie was so choppy he imagined there would be so much of the movie on the editing room floor. The only time we really got to see a glimpse of the true Edward was towards the very end of the movie, when he was confident and calm. I thought TBH he was the worst actor I have ever seen, way too wooden. And I really don't think they read any of the text describing the characters at all, especially edward. What was with that big boofy "James Dean" like hair. Soooo annoying, and from a design perspective why didn't they adjust the makeup to suit the lighting that was annoying me too. The other thing I wanted to see more of was his driving heh, in the book it is quite noted how precise and FAST he drives... yet you really wouldn't get that from the movie unless you had seen the book and put two and two together. The father character was also more passive in the book than on screen. The other thing that was COMPLETELY flawed was the way they portrayed Edward to be "like" a teenager, another big part of the book is that neither of them were like regular teenagers. He was been alive for over 100 yrs he wouldn't fumble or sook like a teenager he would brood like a man, and I saw none of that wisdom that he has in the book. ANNOYING! And she wasn't EVER scared. She was very firm with that, I hated how she fumbled over it in the movie through that damn annoying heavy panting LOL. She was way more empowered in the book.

Are you an Edward or a Jacob fan?

    Edward.

    Why?

His personality reminds me of DH, we even talked about it after watching the movie. That cute protective streak that Edward has for Bella is exactly like DH. He is very gallant and strides in to keep me safe especially when I least expect it (and often most need it) I also like his sense of humor (in the book) also very similar to DH.

    What is your favourite quote?

    The goth in me loves...

"Death is peaceful. Its life thats hard." - Bella

Have you read all 4 books? Which one was your favourite?
Of course!! I can't pick, umm...maybe Breaking Dawn.

Have you seen the movie? What did you think?
Yes, I thought it was crap! I agree most of what Cai said! I didn't like Edward at all, I thought Bella was alright probably bc she looked most like how I imagined in my head. Some of it was way too corny and cheesy and they didn't explain everything enough!! They spent way too much time on the unimportant bits and then rushed through the end!! And what was with their hissing noises when they met the other vampires at the baseball game, rofl, they sounded like kittens!! That bit really annoyed me, they're supposed to be scary. I don't think it explained the whole vampire thing very well at all.

Are you an Edward or a Jacob fan? Why?
mmm.... Edward. Isn't he just every girls fantasy, all protective and so in love with her!! Jacob is alright but he annoyed me, get over it she doesn't want you!!

    What is your favourite quote?
Oh, so many, I don't know!
You're intoxicated by my very presence. (Edward) - Yes, true!! lol
They have a name for someone who smells the way Bella does to me. They call her my singer - because her blood sings for me. (Edward)
