At last!!! more people I can talk too that arent pre or pubescent girls!!

Have you read all 4 books? Which one was your favourite?
yep, read all four in about 3 days, then had to read midnight sun (well, as much as I could find!) then I read them again and again and again....
Breaking dawn is deffinately my fave, with twilight a close second, new moon and eclipse just annoyed me, I wanted to skip past all the werewolf crap, who cares about them, give me the vampires!!

Have you seen the movie? What did you think?
yep, I was warned to enjoy the movie as a movie in itself, which I did, so much so that mum bought me a copy for my birthday!
my personal fave bit is the sequence when bella works out that edward is a vampire, there is a scens of her lying on a couch with edward draped over her about to suck her neck....ahhhh...sadly that pic is not in the complete twilight movie companion (which I bought for my equally obsessed 13 yo neice so I could look at the pictures!!)

Are you an Edward or a Jacob fan? Why?
as far as Im concerned, Edward can cover me in bruises, break my headboard and bite my pillows any day!!! need I say more??
although alot of people ask me if the reason I named my son jacob was cos of twilight! I hadnt actually read them then!! so im team edward but I think I will buy the Ilove jacob shirt from supre...

    What is your favourite quote?
there are just too many......most have already been said in here.

Well i have oficcially finished all the books and have just finished watching the movie... and ... well... I have to admit the books are way better - but I did enjoy the movie!
I think what bothered me the most about the movie is it doesn't portray Edwards confidence very well. To me in the book he seems very sure of himself, and he seems the complete oposite in the movie!
Otherwise, the characters have been picked out quite well! Can't wait to see the sequels!

I just watched the movie & the 2nd disk with all the outtakes & stuff.

Why oh why did they make Rob Pattison put on that crap American accent when he has the most drooly English accent. Yeah, I know he is suppose to be American, but sheesh they could have overlooked that.
Edward was not 'smooth' enough IMO & I agree with Teagz, not very confident.
Comparing the book & the movie there is no comparison, but as a movie on it's own it's ok. I hope the next one is better.

I cant think of anyone else who could have played Edward, I think Rob nailed it although agree that he wasnt as confident as he was in the book. I read on the Twilight Wiki website that that was Rob's interpretation of Edward, and he really butted heads with Steph Meyer over it. Rumor has it that he was even writing suicide notes to himself...tres weird!

DH is out all day tomorrow, will get into my Team Edward tee and watch the movie me thinks...

That's interesting about Rob's interpretation of Edward cos I thought it was just a bit of poor directing. When I watched the second disk with the director, Stephanie Meyer etc.... I felt that the director was purely focussed on the scene & effects.
I can't think of anyone else who would have done Edwards character anymore justice though. I think if he was a bit more like himself personally it would have been heaps better. Am going to watch it again b/c when I watched it, it was in sections (due to time) and I think this time it will flow better, also I'll try not to be so critical & judge it against the book so much.
