    omg Amy read it!! lol.
    I am addicted.
I'm not really into fantasy really (except Harry Potter) and when I heard about it I was like, 'a book about vampires, no thanks!'. But I am hooked.
Some bits are a bit corny but I love it. I agree, the movie was pretty crappy tho, don't see it before you read the book!!
I don't know how you missed it either, all 4 books have been in the top 10 for ages!!

I have read all of the series and I really like them. I couldn't put them down. I really enjoyed the movie too. I thought it was a good adaptation. I usually don't like movies of books I have read

Sooo, the big question? Do you fancy Edward or Jacob?
i read an interview with the author where she said the Jacob fanciers were rarer than the Edward fanciers and TBH I just don't get that. What is there not to like about Jacob? He's waaay hotter than Edward lol.

    My thoughts exactly!!

AmySarah- So glad you like them!

MelS- wait until you read what happens with Jacob!!! Very interesting storylines there!! I wont spoil it for you.

I am in love with these books! Do you know the whole story came to her in a dream and she thought, that would make a great story. Wish I had dreams like that!

There is so much sexual tension in the books! Its incredible how she writes.
I thought the characters were fantastic! Who would have thought..."Vegetarian vampires"!!!

The guy who played Edward Cullen in the movie is from Harry Potter (He was the one who got killed by Valdermolt in the maze challenge) for anyone who is interested. I am in love with him

    I absolutely LOVE these books!
I am definietly an Edward fan, but i really like Jacob too. He is such a nice character.
But I would go for Edward... MMM... I'm in love with Edward Cullen!

I thought the movie was ok. It wasn't the best, but they did get some things right. I think they captured the tension between Edward and Bella quite well. Just before they kissed was OMG filled with tension! But there are just some things that you can't get across in a movie the way you can in a book.
I thought that Carslile was perfectly cast. I think he was the only one who was spot on. Edward was ok, but not as good as the Edward in my head... I also thought Bella was good.
I really loved the scene in the kitchen where they were cooking for Bella. I thought it was great. It didn't happen in the book, but i thought it was a good addition!
I am looking forward to seeing the next movie to see what they do with that.

Hi- Im nearlly finished New Moon, and I know I'll be disappointed not having t he next two books, cause around here all the bookshops are sold out! I know these books are written for a teenage market, but Ive found the fact that they're such an easy read half of the appeal. ATM Im so dog tired with my two kids, I just couldnt concentrate on anything complex.
Have been a bit disappointed with the absence of Edward in the second book though, I need my fix...can't wait to see the movie too.

Beaksie - I read an interview with the Author that said she urged people to read New Moon twice - because readers were so anxious for Edward to return that they missed heaps of important parts of the book.

You'll love Eclipse and Breaking Dawn - I was so lucky to get them without having to wait. They are sold out everywhere here too!!

Jump on the Stephenie Meyer website - lots of "deleted scenes" and cool things about each book - but don't read about the next ones until you've read the books - lots of spoilers!!!!

*puts up hand sheepishly* I am obessed with twilight!

Amy i too feel 17 again! I must say too it has brought back a spark in DH and my relationship lol! Yes the books lack depth and are written for teenagers but i like to escape reality and these books are perfect! I never understood when people spoke of falling in love with book characters untill i read this series! I am a harry potter fan too but twilight is a bit more "adult" loved all the sexual tension!

I think i had read the whole series in a week  DH was ready to slap me out of my twilight zone cause nothing was getting done! Any time Myles was sleeping i would be reading lol!

Eclipse did frustrate me a bit and i think i did read it too quick so have started reading them all again!

The movie was so so, I think it took too long at the start and rushed all the good bits! But hey Edward made up for that *drool*

There is a website called twilightmoms and the paragraph about why your a twilight mum described me to a tea lol
Really hopeing the next movie is more like the book! But the movies are never as good as the books!

So glad you liked them Amy! Finally I can come out of hiding and discuss them !
