when i have a workable room to store them in, i'll definitely look at grabbing them holly - at the moment, my study is a store room, my spare room is a store room, the gremlins room is a store room - and it's getting worse in the study and spare room as we try to gut the baby's room - i neeeeeed my shed!
If you dont mind them second hand you can get them at markets and book exchanges very cheap. One book exchange I went to wont take them as she has so many of them
most of my "grown up" books are second hand - i'll go scope it out when i have some space to store them - no point getting books i have to put in boxes and not get to (which is where most of our books are at the moment!)
I also loved these books as a teen but haven't read one for ages. I loved FITA series and Dawn. They were so scandalous(sp?) So much incest and weird love triangles that made me wonder what kind of relationships she had in real life. Great books though and I have always found them easy to find at op shops.
OMG I loved them. The Heaven series was my fav too. I think I've read a lot of them but not for ages. I'm going to check out what else I can read now too. Thanks for reminding me!! lol.
I didn't care about the author change either, still great!
I own all the Viriginia Andrews ones, but I really didn't like the VC ones, after the author change (with the exception of Web of Dreams- I din't even realise it was the new author till I read this thread). I just couldn't get into the Dawn series, and I gave up from there
But I love The Casteel series- Heaven is one of my favorite books. Her and Logan... *sigh and flutter eyelashes* isn't it funny how we all seem to love Heaven but it's the Flowers series that are the most popular?
And speaking of the Flowers series, I have read them all but boy it was a struggle to get through the last one (I think it's the last one- where Cathy and Chris have their own twins and their mum moves in next door)... I so wanted to see what happened but it got a bit soap opera-ish (moreso than her usual )
And I love My Sweet Audrina. What an odd, gothic-style book, but so well written.
I'm a big reader- I eat books in a matter of hours- and these ones are like Macca's- not particulary important matter for the brain, very little sustenance but oh so good
