    Fair enough... might go along and just have a look at their labels before I plan to buy anything from there. Thanks everyone

    I think Aldi's food is fantastic quality (and I am VERY fussy about my food).

    Yep, I've been generally happy with Aldi quality. For instance their diced tomatos in a can have lots of diced tomato in the can, not a few tomato bits floating in juice like other cheap brands can sometimes be. Same with their canned corn and kidney beans. Their pesto is also good.

    We generally go to Aldi once every 2-3 months and stock up on pantry staples (i.e. we buy 36 cans of tomatoes!). It really saves on the grocery bills for us.

    i think its trial and error. i have some set thigns i get from Aldi, then go to coles/safeway for the rest. i dont mind going into two supermarkets.

    i think its best to go and have a look when you have time to browse... rather than on a mad shopping spree!
