    anyone who can help urgent

    okay I'm in the middle of savoury muffina so slightly urgent lol

    might be a silly question but is baking soda the same as baking powder?

    No, they're not the same. I don't think BS can be used on it's own to replace BP, I think you need to combine it with cream of tartar or something. Do you have any of that?

    No not the same, but i have used bicarb if i didn't have baking soda.
    Baking powder is baking soda with something else added. I did a quick google and came up with this.......
    You can make your own baking powder: simply mix two parts cream of tartar with one part bicarbonate of soda.
    If you don't have cream of tartar, i'd just use the bicarb, but a bit less.
