Sounds about how I would do itAnd now I have an idea for dinner ......
Hey All!!
I tend to make my own pizza's these days but the only ones that I do is hawaiian and the other half I put on red, green and yellow capsicum and semi dried tomatoes. And I want to do something else and thought that DH and I love the BBQ chicken pizza that the shops do, so I thought I would give that a go!
So does someone have a recipe for that or is it just a matter of cooking up a chicken (or buying a BBQ chicken from coles) and use BBQ sause and cheese or is a bit more technical than that??
TIA!

LOL
Yeh it does sound pretty easy doesnt it!! I guess I will give it a go and see how it turns out
I use a pita bread base, then tomato paste sauce over the base and add any combo of the following,
onion, tomato, baby spinach leaves, zucchini, mushroom, capsicum, egg, ham, salami, cheese, and chicken (we buy thigh fillets, marinate in teriyaki or bbq sauce and pan fry for a few mins before adding to the pizza) and then top with cheese! You could add bbq sauce over the whole thing too if you like!
Yeah I always use the pita brea as the base too, soooo very easy & cook quickly too. We had pizza last night. I always use, ham, bacon, capsicum, onion, tomato, mushroom, pineapple & cheese.
I mix tomato paste with mixed herbs, season all & some bbq sauce. I would make bby chicken if I had left over chicken breast to be cooked or chook from coles, with bacon, mushroom, pineapple, capsicum, onion & cheese. Yum.
Also last night we had one with zucchini & pumpkin on it, yummy.
