I was going to say home brand! We have tried some of the more "expensive" ones and Homebrand wins hands down!
Then with the money you save you can get dessert x

I bought the Woolies home brand one once and it tastes a bit vinegary to me. Maybe it was just an off batch ..... might give it another whirl at $1.99 for two of them.

We currently buy the McCains Garlic Pizza which is to die for but sometimes I miss the old fashioned garlic bread.

La Familia, in the dairy case at Woolies. About $3.50 for a big loaf- whack it in the freezer, and cut slices off it as you need it. Yummmmmmmm

    Thumbs up

Yep, we buy the SAFEWAY homebrand twin pkt (i think it's still $1.69 a pkt) ...

My friend's Hubby is a Chef ... he had it at our house with lunch and really liked it (especially for the price $$)

... And now he buys it when he has guests over lunch/dinner

Yep we buy that one as well, and do the same.
We never eat a full loaf with a meal (the kids would just have garlic bread for dinner if I put a full loaf out ) so even though it's a bit dearer, we get at least two meals out of it.

It goes nice and crunchy and golden too....mmmmm

I was going to recommend the Woollies Select brand (haven't had their homebrand one). I like it cos it's like a flattish panini loaf instead of the regular french stick way. Yum!

We love this one too. It is similar to the La Familia one, we cut it up and get about 4 meals out of it.

We love the garlic & herb foccaccia available at Aldi. I think it's $4 or under & is very tasty. We also love the frozen garlic pizza which I think is McCain.
