I've used Soy milk for years and I have found Soy Good to be the best as far as taste. And they have yummy chocolate Soy milk too!! I use Soy Good in all my cooking etc as a direct milk replacement and it works great.

If you really cant stand the taste of Soy milk, try rice milk, its a bit milder and also available at the supermarket.

I personally cant stand soy yoghurt, so I can't help you there. But I try to avoid dairy and I eat normal yoghurt because it already has all the happy digestive stuff in it.

There is no good cheese. Sorry....i love cheese too....it makes me sad

Oh, but Soy Good ice cream is awesome!

ETA: that would be So Good, not Soy Good.....sigh, baby brain...

Agreed, soy cheese just isn't cheese

and So Good ice cream is yuuuuummmyy!! Even DP eats it in preference to other icecreams!! So Delicious is also good & comes in more adventurous flavours, but for creaminess the So Good is the best & the most reasonably priced.

King Land do a great soy yoghurt that doesn't taste like barf. It' s the only one I can eat but you won't find it in the 'big' supermarkets. Macro always have it & IGA's often do.

Other useful products are Tofutti 'It's not cream cheese' Available in the usual supermarkets in a round tub in plain & with added chives. It's super yummy on rice cakes with smoked salmon and I really don't think most people I serve it to have any idea they are not eating 'real' cream cheese.

Tofutti also do some 'plastic cheese' squares that melt in a toasted sandwich sufficiently to satisfy a craving. They are almost as much like cheese as Kraft plastic singles! LOL

Ok, I'm off to get some soy icecream
