Angry Bread roll's...how much do you pay?

My local bakery here in Mooroopna charge me 50c for a nice, big fat juiy looking bread roll.
On my way home from Melbourne today I stopped at the Murchison bakery to buy some thinking that they would go nice with tea (chicken cacthi in the slow cooker)....but I ended up walking out with none. I was not going to pay 90c for one bread roll!!!! now I would have to buy 12....Mario himself would have 3 if I let him so 12 at 90c each = $10.80
Am I kidding myself.....are all bakery's charging this for bread roll's?

thank god im not the only one who thinks its excessive. I asked how much first and when she said 90c I said you gotta be joking...shook my head and walked out. The look on her face was as if I had hit her with a brick

I worked in a bakery 14 years ago and we charged 45c for bread rolls which back then was very expensive. We often had people complain about the price

    90c is a major rip!

    Wow, what a rip off!!

We pay about $3 for 6, so what's that, 50cents each.

We buy ours from a local vietnamese bakery and we pay $1.20 for 6!! So that's 20c each. They are quite large bread rolls too.

Wow! At my local they are only 15 cents each. I would never pay 90 cents I would just use bread instead.

90c is a crazzzzy price! although i think my local safeway charges 75c per bread roll when you buy them individually? maybe they're specialty ones? anyway, i think 50c is okay & i'm happy to pay that for a nice roll.
