wow didnt know about the breast milk bit.
wow didnt know about the breast milk bit.
We get Nuttelex (sp?) its cheaper than both of them. But before I found that, I was using butter - not margarine (yuk!)
BLERK, not only all that but margarine tastes foul as well.![]()
Check out your Nuttelex Arimeh & how it's made...
I use a 250g block of pure unsalted butter. I have a china butter container and because I live in a cool climate I leave it out year round so it's always soft. No additives... Costs $1.60 a block.
When I go to the organic supermarket down the coast I buy the organic butter and it is absolutely gorgeous - heavenly..
We have been using butter here for years now and I cringe when I make toast or something at my Mum's house as she still uses margarine... it definitely tastes disgusting.
I agree with FC, organic butter is amazing... we buy it fortnightly at our local markets for a treat![]()
Ok, I had no idea about any of this!!!![]()
I thought butter was much higher in fat and I was doing the right thing by buying marg - not anymore!!
Ohh I am off to buy Pure Unsulted butter, I had no idea Marg was not better. I have been buying DH that "lower salt, heart approved m.lea "
Is the no name butter just as good as the bigger named ones ?
We use the No Name stuff here and I can't tell the difference between that and the big named brands.
I'm going to have to get DH to read this because he insists I buy the 'lower cholesterol1' type marg too. I'm switching to butter next fortnight now!1
Is there a butter that spreads nicely? I hate hard butter which takes chunks out of your bread when you try to spread it.
