made up powdered milk for dishes that require milk?
This may sound like a silly question , but I have never had to watch the money as much as I do now that I am a SAHM, and taking a bit more of a role in the kitchen..
We buy A2 milk for DD to drink, and so it becomes quite pricey when using it for cooking as well.
I've never tried but I can't think of a logical reason why not.
The other option (if powdered didn't work for any reason) would be to get a couple of the UHT containers and just keep them in the cupboard for when you need them.
My auntie always uses powdered milk when she bakes. She just adds the powder with the dry ingredients and adds the water later. I don't know what measurements or anything but she always bakes the BEST scones and cakes!
