Chicken left out overnight - is it safe?

Last night as usual I cubed and cooked several chicken breasts in the microwave -
what I stupidly forgot to do once they had cooked and cooled was to
container and freeze them - They stayed in the glass/lidded bowl until this
morning when I went to use the microwave and could see I had forgotten
    all about them last night.

Can anyone please advise re. - I then immediately froze them in a few individual containers,
but of course am wondering if it will be quite *SAFE* to eat as I defrost over the next couple of weeks, *OR*, will I need to dump the lot and improve my memory so it doesn't happen again ?

i wouldn't be using them at all - that much time at room temp gives far too much time for the nasties to grow on them!

ditch them (do you have a dog or cat??) and start again. maybe get in the habit of setting an alarm on your phone for 15 or 20 mins after cooking is done to chuck them in the fridge so that at least they cool to safe temp if you forget to freeze them that night

Thanks very much for the quick reply BG - Have just bagged the said Chicken and
nipped out to the wheelie bin (the air is Blue at MY costly error) - I think my mother would have agreed with you re. the danger.

As I live in the bush I didn't want to attract any more animals than there already are
    so binned the bag.
Yes I am forgetting more often and so I must begin to use an alarm clock from now on.

    Kind Regards.
