I've been meaning to come back to this thread! I made my first ever one with butternut snaps and cream, with grated butterscotch chocolate overtop. Then DH left the fridge unlocked overnight. What was left when we got up was quite nice...
So later that week for #1's birthday DH wondered if butternut snaps were the sort of bikkie used in Kingston creams...so we made a cake with butternut snaps and folded melted chocolate into the cream and had a Kingston Cream cake. So. Yummy.

Auuuggghhh! Why did you have to mention butterscotch? Now the craving for butterscotch icecream, which I only just got rid of yesterday, is back with a vengeance! You mean, mean ladies
...Anyone know where I can buy butterscotch icecream?
