    Cookie recipe (basic) please...

Hi ladies, I posted in the Children?s Parties thread but seeing as Im looking for a recipe I thought Id post here too. I am wanting to make cookies to put into the party favour boxes for DD?s 1st birthday. I have animal and butterfly cookie cutters. Im looking for a basic cookie recipe and any icing ideas would be great too

I posted my recipe for choc chip cookies on here... it is really simple and really yummy... you could just skip the choc chips if you wanted to.
I will find it now and post it for you.

This is the recipe I use... it is brilliant and it has no eggs.

    Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies
    • 250g butter
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1 can condensed milk
    • 3 cups sifted self raising flour
    • 1 packet of chocolate chips

Cream butter and sugar. Add condensed milk and stir. Then add flour, chocolate chips. Mix through. Roll into balls, place on biscuit tray and bake for 12-15 minutes at 190C.
    Yum!
