Depends on the veg or fruit, and the severity of the mould. I do err on the side of caution. Admittedly if mould isn't too "bad" on pumpkin, and I've got a big wedge of pumpkin left, I cut a good chunk of the mouldy bit off and use what's left.

Depends what I'm doing with it, and how much is covered. A little bit of mould on fruit/veg, I'll generally just cut off. Mould on bread - I'll pick it off if it's for me, but if it's for Professor I won't give him the slice as he has an allergy. Depending on how mouldy the bread slice is, I might not even give him any from that loaf.
Can someone edit my spelling of mould please?
