    I've done croutons for soups etc with them as well - but usually they feed the birds or become breadcrumbs

    I?m with you Sangie,thick slices of cheese on toast is the best,you let it melt all over the sides,the kids and i just love.

    Yeah i eat them too but you can make croutons out of them.

    i like having the crust pieces as toast with peanut butter... im not really a toast eater, but the crust pieces are yummy toasted!

    DH, DD and I eat them too. It's funny because I always thought that not eating the crusts was a child's thing and they grow out of it. But I guess it carries on to adulthood LOL.

    My first thought was breadcrumbs aswell
