    Dry soup packet mix??

Have just been scouring the slow cooker recipes thread and there is one there I want to try which calls for a packet of dry soup mix? Have never heard of it before - does it come in different flavours or could you just use something like french onion mix if I cant find it?

The recipe is for lamb shanks...

    TIA

I bought some last night at COles in the aisle with the indian and asian ingredients. It's with the split peas and lentils.
I had to just about get on my knees to find it though it was so low.
