Wow, I've not heard of that before! What are you going to have with it? (Once you figure out how to cook it of course, lol)
I recently bought some coarse couscous but have never cooked it before. Is it similar to cook as fine normal couscous? Each piece is the same size as small pieces of hail stones.
thanks in advance!

not sure Amy - any advice would be welcome. it may just be very similar use but different texture.
if its what i am thinking - looks like small little balls but diff to fine couscous - you can cook it like rice or fry up an onion then add and cover with water - add salt and cover. it takes about 15min, and is a favourite with the kids.
let us know if it works

yum, yum, yum. i lurve that couscous - the one i get is Lebanese but sounds the same. Its a bit bigger than a pea. i just cook it the same but then sometimes to make it even yummier and crunchy afterwards i melt some butter in a frying pan and pan fry it until its brown.
It goes chewy and crunchy and the texture and flavour is so different. Yum i am going to ave to make some now for dinner
oh thanks ladies!
i will try it out this week and let you know how i go.
do you use equal amounts of water to couscous? ie 1 cup to 1 cup or more like rice, 1 cup of rice, 1.5 cups of water.
