?? fried noodle salad recipie

Hi ladies and gents,
I was hoping someone could help me before tomorrow. I need to take a salad to a lunch we are going to but i have had a request for "the salad with the fried noodle things". I think it has mainly normal salad with maybe nuts, croutons and what i think are the "Chans fried noodles" with a dressing or vinagerette.
Can anyone help me??? Otherwise something a little different to a standard tossed salad but with similar ingredients.

Hello!!

I know the recipe you mean - if no one has it handy the recipe is on the back
of the noodle packet you buy to make the salad - i can see the exact packet in
my head but can't remember the name - it think it is Chans!!- the noodle packet label
is yellow and red. I hope that helps - i just asked the people at the supermarket and they knew exactly what i was looking for last time i made it!!

1/2- 1 chinese cabbage or savoy shredded finely
6 green onions chopped into 5mm lengths
100g lightly roasted pine nuts
1 pkt changs fried noodles
Dressing
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/4 castor sugar
1tbs soy sauce
1/2 cup olive oil
Combine all dressing ingredients in a saucepan over low heat until sugar is dissolved (my friend doesn't do this she just shakes it well) Cool then toss thru salad, add noodles at the last minute.

Changs.....if you Google their site, they have a stack of easy/yummy recipes using their products........

MrsMac has is perfectly for you........the only other suggestion I'd make would be to add some shredded BBQ chook to it.........
