Maybe some savoury muffins? Like chilli, cheese and herb? Or Brownies? Or Lemon muffins? A carrot cake?
The Man's Chef friend brought him a plate of food from work, so now I have this large plate to return. And I can't return it empty (nothing they've said, just how I grew up).
So I'm wondering what I should make for Chef and his partner, who I get the feeling may also work in a kitchen, so my cooking may be getting a double critique!I know Mr Chef isn't really into sweets, but he did try and greatly enjoy my butterscotch pudding, and some bellybelly fudge. He is American, if that gives anyone some ideas.
I'm just stuck for ideas...TIA!
Maybe some savoury muffins? Like chilli, cheese and herb? Or Brownies? Or Lemon muffins? A carrot cake?
What about some fresh bread? Or home made Focaccia with olives and semi dried tomatoes? A knotted loaf?
How about an antipasto type plate? or a fruit platter if they don't like really sweet things?
I might go some savoury muffins. I've got muffins down-pat, so I'll go with something tried and tested (even if its a new flavour!).
Thanks everyone!
